They coat the inside of the barrel with real heavy-duty protective gunk so there is no chance of corrosion while the barrel/gun is in storage, I usually spend a good half hour cleaning the barrel of any new gun BEFORE I get the scope out to mount it. I had a new Air Arms a few years ago that looked like they'd poured a pint of molasses down the pipe and let it dry, took twenty patches before it was worth trying a pellet.
Awesome video Dana!
Another informative video and an area for air gunners that isn't discussed often. Thanks!
Excellent video Dana!
I'll have to get some of that Shooters Choice Lead Remover.

Cool. Got me a gamo .22 gen 2 and I was wondering if I needed to clean it now that I sighted in the scope. Thanks for the video man.
Usually that's first order of business when getting something new.

Did you remove the breach o-Ring first?
Off topic a bit but can you do some pistol target shooting and some personal likes and dislikes of what your shooting?
Eventually I may do something like that in the future.
Will the shooters choice damage o rings or gaskets
No, use very little and clean it out with dry patches.
Wd40 works fine in my paper barrel.
