Your edits are so much better than these people's solo channels. Thanks for the entertainment.
@@krusher74 thank you for watching
@@shotaholic1 so is it just coincidence that all these alleged reactors are reacting to the same song within just a few days time of each other?
@@MsDawnKeyballs Idk, you’ll have to ask them. I only use the ones I find entertaining and cut them into a less fluff/more song montage.
@@shotaholic1 you're the only one who has ever answered that question lol.
Appreciate it though. Keep up the good work
Dave wrote 5 of the greatest guitar riffs in metal...and put them all in 1 song...
even greater than any of the riffs in pain killer ?
@@jalliboyRust In Peace is like top 5 metal albums of all time easily.
@@p1g5m0k3 i am talking about riffs. Not a album as a whole
@@jalliboy I prefer the riffs of Holy Wars to Painkiller. I still like Painkiller, but Holy Wars in my opinion is superior. To me, it’s like someone asking me what’s better, Master of Puppets or Rock Hard Ride Free? I have yet to find a Priest song that can hold a candle to anything Metallica or Megadeth. Unless it’s black album or later Metallica. Now, if we were talking Iron Maiden, that’s a whole other story. There’s plenty of Maiden that holds up to The Big 4.
@@p1g5m0k3 maiden has always been great! It jus is somethin about the rock and hard rock from the 70s to the 90s that is special! You get different vibes, and it feels more like it has soul!
Dave Mustaine and Megadeth are one of the best metal bands that ever existed. I thank Metallica for doing us that favor
Indeed!
Best thing Lars and James did, was not being able to keep up with Dave.
That's actually a great way of interpreting that, "hell yeah"
The two demos of Megadeth are the best (and only) albums of Metallica's
That is exactly what I was saying all the time! Thank you Metallica for being so stupid!!!
Megadeth grabs you by the throat and never lets go! My favorite band of all time! Been a fan for over 35 years and their new album is one of their best! Mustain is a genius!
agreed. I started listening to them when I found Rust In Piece, shortly after it was released. one of my all time favorite albums, from start to finish. I also agree that the new album is actually pretty damn good. I like it. I’ll be going to see them again next weekend.
They are my Favorites as well for 30 years 🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🔥🤘🏽❤️.....
Seeing these newbies reacting to Megadeth for the very first time and actually enjoying it, as a hard rock and heavy metal fan, it really puts a smile on my face knowing that they appreciate raw talent like this 🤘😊
That lineup, Mustaine, Ellefson, Menza, and the legendary Friedman.
Possibly the greatest collaboration in metal....definitely for thrash.
Rust in peace is it!!
Facts 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🏽
I would love to see Friedman play with then one more time even if it is for only 1 song
No son, the greatest thrash lineup would be
Singer: Mr James hetfield
Drums Mr Lars alrich
Bass Mr Cliff Burton
Lead guitarist Mr Kirk Hammett
@@Sox-wp9lo In case you didn't know, Friedman just played with Megadeth @ Budokan a week or so ago. Search youtube for videos.
@@Shawn-mo6dh Nah rust lineup better
I still get full body chills each time I hear this song! Music that actually has something to say
25 years and it’s still the same for me as well… every time I hear this song
"Something to say" Some trite criticism of religion with the plot of the Punisher thrown in.,
Im now 50 and listened to MEGADETH from the start, so listening to People hear them for the FIRST TIME...im envious.🤟🤟🤟
Millie Mossiae "Three guitar solos."
Hangar 18 "Hold my beer."
Everyone was in straight awe at that final guitar solo 😂
It is Mustaien's shinning moment.
RIP NICK MENZA
Correct me if I'm mistaken, but Nick was the drummer, right??
@@karlsmith2570 Yep the drummer. Megadeth fans, considered him the best drummer they ever had.
This song is a musical masterpiece: it is no surprise seeing people recognise this son is on another level.
And let's not forget the lyrics!
They jumped into the deep end with Megadeth. Probably the most impressive technical display in metal ever.
If you do another Megadeth one do Five Magics. They think this song is crazy. I hope they paid attention to the lyrics. Not just the music.
love Five Magics!! love that album in general and have been listening to it a lot again lately, along with other albums of theirs (UA, 13, Countdown, Peace Sells) in preparation to see them and FFDP again in a couple weeks.
Crazy song!
Yea that song is crazy
peace sells
symphony of destruction
BEST! SONG! EVER! I am watching the reactions to it lately and feeling emotional like I am hearing it for the first time
I find it strangely fascinating watching people react so positively to a genre of music I grew up on and defended my entire life. Metal music is def. not something to get into one summer. the genre of music that will never die unlike many many before it.
I love how you stitched all these together without them pausing the clip
thank you
Awesome man. Great to see 2 weeks in a row that you all doing these compilations that 2 of you dropped a new one the same day.
thanks, Dion. I actually had some extra down time recently and I got a new iphone with a TON more memory, so I tried starting multiples to see if it helps get some out quicker.
🥴 please just don’t get to use to a schedule, mine changes constantly.
We've been here as a species 100k maybe 200k years and we get to live in the time of Megadeth 🤘😝🤘
YES I LOVE THAT LOGIC!!! HOW LUCKY ARE WE!!??
More than that
I think this is a one of the masterpiece of Heavy metal in the world.
God bless you Dave. From South Korea ❤
And I've been waiting for a Megadeth compilation. We've got to do something to get you more exposure though. I catch your stuff on UA-cam and as of now I'm only the second person to react.
You've got one of the reactors I follow on here. Alex who I know did a full album reaction to Rust In Peace because I watched it. He's one of my favorite by the way.
YUP I am a huge fan of his reactions as well!
Awesome awesome job, man…keep ‘em comin
thanks, Oxx
This two songs. Holy wars and then punishment due. Punishment due is about the Punisher comic book
Nice job mister! Love the profile pics with the name labels. I can't believe you do this on a phone. I'd stab myself in the eyeball if I had to do my comps on a phone. lol
I have never heard this song before. lol I didn't get into Megadeath a bunch. I might have to explore!
thank you very much. I was shocked how fast it came together. it’s like when a band goes into practice and just starts jamming, an hour later they have a whole new song. usually takes me multiple sittings, but had a little extra downtime and it just went fast!!
as for Megadeth, the entire Rust In Peace is like this…fast, aggressive and completely amazing. if you liked this song, you would love the album overall.
I also got a new iphone with a TON more memory. it was so much easier, I had the freedom to experiment and not have to juggle what I kept and had to delete on a constant bases. lmao
I used to listen to this on the way to School, crazy!! The message is still relevant!!!
Priceless!
I heard this the day of release. Brings tears to my eyes to witness people hear it for the first time.
"Is anybody wearing a shirt ?" 😅 I had a VHS in the early 1990s with behind-the-scenes interviews ,etc with Dave E. & Dave M. Dave Mustaine said "you know music video directors🤪" They chose an airplane hangar in Long Beach (I think ) to shoot this in on a 100+ degree day, and they were there all day, he said something like they all sweated soooo much, the drummer Nick Menza drank like 5 or more of the biggest Gatorades you could get at that time,(he motioned his hands, way bigger than the quarts, I think I saw 64s or bigger back then), "and Nick didn't get up to go pee once".
It’s a masterpiece
Kids, its wonderful to see you experiencing, indulging in, and enjoying the stuff that we grew up with in 80s and 90s. May I suggest some other Megadeth to listen to ? You should try out Hangar 18, Symphony of Destruction, Boots, Dawn Patrol, Tornado of Souls....
Around the time I got into Megadeth and similar bands as a teen. I remember the whole "Rust In Peace" album garnered a lot of respect from music critics at the time, some called it a masterpiece.
Dave maintain is a beast on the guitar!! I remember hearing this song many years ago; I couldn't believe what I was hearing!
this is old, very old, from the 90's. the modern megadeath guitars are truly crazy, the speed, accuracy, extremely complicated melody. Perfection got blown away AND YOU FEEL IT. for those that dont know Dave Mustain, was kicked out of Metallica, for being an uncontrolled maniac drunk. but he does own and aim it
No Life Shaq: hold on, hold on, Megadeth don’t know the rules? you can’t come in like that!
Dave Mustaine: watch me
Hold my beer...
I was lucky to be a beginner teen when this hit the deck!
Took that metal in a new and beautiful way!!
I don't know how many times me and my pothead buddies would be laughing, being silly and loud, but quiet as church mice when Dave and the boys came on!
Thank you Megadeth Gratulace from Bulgaria! 😃😃😃❤❤👍👍🍀🍀
Folks … thank you love your program so
I love watching people enjoying music they never would have listened to. Expanding your playlist and understanding what music lovers really are.
Producer: How many solos do you want
Megadeth: Yes
Just saw them live may 2023. One of the best metal shows I've ever been to
I’ve seen them multiple times and it’s always a great night. first time I saw them was back around the Rust/Countdown days. also saw them last Sept and a couple times in between.
Was in the City Hall Newcastle Upon Tyne 29th march 91 for the Rust in Peace tour they were epic the tightest band I've ever seen.
Dam! I remember head banging to this when I went to their concert
Megadeth is probably the most technical thrash metal band that ever came from that era and they made heavy thrash metal for a very long time without going soft like Dave's first band.
It was great time being a teenager when all these great bands were releasing these monster albums
We were so lucky, I still love all this stuff today, listen to it all the time too.
The cool thing about music is you can always go back.
Saludos desde Quilmes Argentina
“Is anybody wearing a shirt?!” Hahahahahaaaa. Love it.
😂 I came to the comments to see if anyone was laughing at that one, hahaha 🤣.
There used to be a time when MTV had this AMAZING show called Headbangers Ball, it was on ever Saturday night for a few hrs of nothing but the best metal of its time. Peace Sells was played every show!
I’ve met Rikki Rackman before. miss that show. lol
Holy Wars, Master of Puppets, and Painkiller are the 3 songs that make me feel like I'm gritting my teeth, holding on for dear life on a ride that's going way too fast. It makes you want to pause it just to catch your breath.
EPIC!
Oooo Holy Wars was a great pick!
It’s funny looking at these reactions from the perspective of someone like me. I literally knew how to play this song back in 1992. Except for the middle acoustical part. Lol
Това просто е Черешката на Тортата, върхът на сладоледа просто феноменално и лудо! Само най добрите и талантливи музиканти могат да създадат такава композиция какъв рап каква чалга и кви пет лева 😊👍🍀
When you're stoned and someone says, "Is anyone wearing a shirt?" I laughed way too hard at that.
Megadeth 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Great vid bud.
thank you 🤘🏻😁
This, Painkiller, War Ensemble, Dyer’s Eve, 4 best metal songs ever for me. Hardest song to play on guitar, Holy Wars.
And to top it, try singing while playing those riffs? 😖😖
Wait till they get a load of Tornado of Souls
As epic as it gets.
Masters of the art of Thrash metal, and this is one of it's greatest anthems.
It was missing to include the aventures of TNT, a great fan of the band 🤘🏼👊🏼💪🏼
ok, noted for future reference. thank you!
fyi, these were also ALL first time hearing the band, not just the song.
uh oh, solo?....oh how right you are, arguably one of the best ever
2023, listening like I just heard this on 101.1 the WRIF in Detroit. FTW.
More Megadeth please 🙏
Metal masterpiece
Just Dave be doin it.
Little known fact when it comes to this song. The first half of the song is called holly wars...its about the crusades, the second part is called punishment due....it references the marvel character Punisher.
Very cool 2 part song.
actually, that’s only part of the facts. Dave’s gone on record about the “Holy Wars” part and it was inspired by a show in Ireland where he spouted off and said something about the conflict with the IRA. the band was asked to leave and escorted away in a bulletproof van.
You really don’t know until you been in the pit during this song .
Man life was good back then .
The toxic waltz. Back in the day I never had so much fun getting my ass kicked.
@@robertomartinez8434 so fuckin fun 🤩
The man who was to insane for Metallica! Thank you Dave!🤘🏻
Masters of Rock.
There you have it people, this is what we listened to at high school in 1992. This we did in apartheid South Africa.
Yes they can play this that perfect live, saw them on the Youthanasia tour - great introduction video
The office blokes reacts guys literally do not move a muscle 😂. Awesome video btw
HA, good point…and thank you. glad you enjoyed it.
Their best album!
I've always liked their song Captive hour
I fucking wish i could hear this song for the first time again. Saw them encore with this at Hammerstein Ballroom and then shortly after it closed for repairs lol
When you work that hard your shirt turns to dust! It's a thousand degrees!!
Classic Megadeth, anti establishment anti government anti war. The good ole days of Thrash Metal
1990. I was 20. In the Army. Stationed at Ft. Knox. Operation Desert Shield (Storm kicked off in January). Pregnant with my son (now 32). Take No Prisoners....one of my favorites!
thank you for your services.
Next one Hangar 18
Never been a fan but this song I do like
What the hell you all been living under a rock all this time people 🤘🇺🇸
Metallica threw him out and said you can't rock as hard as us..Dave said, hold my beer bitches!
It's also because Dave kept getting drunk and trying to fight James
"Is anybody wearing a shirt?" No. No they are not.
🤣
Song is a masterpiece.
Megadeth rulz luv them 🤘
The part starting with the muted guitar until end of solo is headbanging heaven.
Greatest song ever written
2 words" F**king Beautiful"!
thank you
If you're a guitarist, you will love Megadeth... 👍👍💯
First time i hear megadeth was with hangar 18 and shit was crazy
Best reaction:
“Is ANYBODY wearing a shirt?”
😂😂😂
The best Megadeth line-up ....listen "Scenes" from Marty Friedman
Dave mustaine was once a member of metallica awsome band symphony of destrution rocks these dudes got skills
Welcome to the beautiful world of Megadeth
this song is legendary in metal music, componed by geniuses
Best metal song ever🤘
True story. I'm 50 years old and still a metal head (it's in my blood). As a youngster I was given so much grief about my choice of music (was called a satanist, whatever that nonsense is). One day, my old man got on my case about it (poor idiot) so bad, I had only one thing to say to him. LISTEN TO THE F***** LYRICS, AND THEN GET BACK TO ME! He did...😳 finally he understood that this music was a way to release my immature ignorant youth angst. Chuck D once said "rap music is the CNN of the ghetto". Well, for us. Metal (specially Thrash Metal) was and is the same thing. Youngsters, get over the "screaming" and like my old man, listen to the f*ing lyrics!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
hey man, I’m only a few short years behind you. my parents did the same thing. next thing I know, my mom stole my Metallica Black album!
I also had a teacher who would jokingly get on me for liking such “crazy music.” so, I loosely used Countdown To Extinction for a report and he came to me, “wow, I did NOT expect this. this was amazing.”
@@shotaholic1 PREACH!!! I'm just glad that my 22yo Wisconsin badger graduate little girl turned out a metal head just like me! All those concert t's that I kept from my youth ( in pristine condition, mind you) are getting a new home! 🤘🤘🤘 Gotta keep in in the family!!!🤫😅🤣
🤘MEGA DEATH 🤘 that's all one can say ✌️💯
Mustaine knows how to craft a MF riff that's for damn sure
5:34 omG!
