My us-spec e70 x5d (the m57 engine, tt) burns 22 mpg (us) at 140 km/h highway (+some small city drive before hwy), which is in line with this test. Author showed the consumption for 130 kmh and then 150 and mine is right there, confirming the data point
I had driven 2012( 3 years old )40d xdrive, it was never below 12-12,5L. Im driving slow pace up to 120 and owner of car showed his average was 14+. Only if you drive below 90km/h it would show little below 12. In spritmonitor page 1 user claims 11,4L average with eco driving
i hate when such a expensive cars like BMW x6 got one colour red screen data on dashboard !! that kind of oldy cheap dashboards was outdate 5 +years ago and now it is only in Opel cars like astra and Meriva ,Mokka...
from what i see in your videos X5 3.0d 245hp takes more fuel (not by much...but still) than the X6 4.0d !! I am taking in consideration buying Bmw X5 3.0d / 4.0d (2012) and i was thinking that all the extra HP will come with much biger fuel consumption (one beeing biturbo engine, the other single turbo). From driving both engines can you give me an idee of the difference! Thank you.
It handles great for such a large car, but the 320d M-sport I currently have handles much sportier and is more fun to drive. But it offers good levels of comfort, just like the X5, but is has less space. That is why I would prefer and X5 over the X6.
@@georgialdev1001 find out whas the fuel tank it has, which is 85L and multiply that with the combined liter per 100 kms which is 10l and you get around 850 kms.
watched up to 200 kmh...if i remember correctly on the autobahn when i drive through Germany to UK i think the 740Li takes me up to 15-16 % maybe, but to be FAIR the x6 is much less aerodynamic so, i guess that''s right. Anyway, cannot say i\d be pleased with the diesel. I live in Bucharest, which is THE most clogged, most crowded city in Europe according to a survey by WAZE, and the F02 does 22% city. But it's just stop and go for kilometers and kilometers. You cannot reach 40kmh between stops.
Although the 335d xDrive is in the fleet, I currently cannot gain access to it. But maybe in the future! Currently the 435d xDrive is not in the fleet at all, and I cannot estimate if it will in the future. Anyway, if I can get my hands on either of both cars, of course I will make the videos (walkaround, acceleration, fuel consumption, flatout).
For what you are buying a f..in diesel? Mercedes 500 v8 306 ps: 80 km/h with 7 l, 100 km/h with 7.5l, 120 km / h 8l, 130 km/h 8.5l, 150 km/h 10 l, 160 km / h 10.8 l, 200 km / h 13l And a V8 with 5.0 is another world. You have power, you have fun awd and sound:)

the new x6 like mine have digital clocks👌👍
it is not about "no knowledge" how to do it it is about tradition just like Volkswagen, now they are making digital cluster to keep up with competition
i think it’s about characteristic tradition looks and by function it easy to catch up while on high speed drive

Nice movie! Good job! I've expected lover consumption - but it's really big & heavy car...
How do you like the car overall?

Verry helpful test.👍
Je consomme un peu moins avec mon 40d ma moyenne c'est du 9.8l/100km en 50/50 ville autoroute
very nice video. i believe this car is quite economical overall, but what about reliability?
Cista laz imam x6 40d potrosnja 9.3 konstaktno
say on a full tank how long would it take till the next fuel stop?
750-900 kms on a full tank (i.e. depending on speed)

Any chance of getting a 335d xdrive or 435d xdrive?

guitigefilmpjes Thanks! I really hope you can get access to either one in the future.
at 80 kmh my F02 740 Li does 7.2 - 7.5%
BMW's 3.0i takes the same amount of gas but given much more pleasure to drive. So why would you buy a facking diesel?
ukropadam for the torque my friend
