Thank you so much. I made the mistake of launching the parts cannon at it at first (mine was also a Craigslist (dumpster) find. The starter and overload didn’t fix it so then I found you. And now I’ve done my first PCB repair.
Thank you. I'd done the same analysis as you and found this video of yours. Same exact model and symptoms as yours, but the lost solder joint was a different pin of the same component..... the other end of it.
You are a saint - I tried other methods found on UA-cam without success and almost gave up. Found your video, figured, “Got nothing left to lose,” and sure enough, it looked like there was no solder right in the same spot as yours. You are amazing for sharing this - THANK YOU!! 🎉
Crazy you did this , I found one on the curb aswell and same thing! Long story short ,i jumpers the pines across the relay and the compressor started up ,so now either replace the board or relay .
Thank you!! That was my problem, it was burnt out beyond repair. Where would I find a replacement? I’ve look online and can’t find a similar board any suggestions please
I picked one up too. It works and cools but I notice the back wall area frosting up and I’m thinking something is wrong. Could it be the magnetic door seals not sealing correctly? It will be outside in 100 degree whether so I’m thinking it may be an issue. Any ideas? Please let me know. Thanks!
Hi, thanks for the magnificent video, my wine cooler is not a Magic Chef like yours, it is a VISSANI Brand model MCWC50DST, It almost looks the same as the Master Chef, I follow the instructions as indicated in your video, and now my wine cooler is working perfectly, thank you very much! 👏👏👏👏👏👍
Just want to say thanks! This was my exact issue. We up and running! Bless.

Hi! If there’s lack of power to one of the pieces on the board , will the underside always look fried at one of the nodes ?

Absolutely spot on!!!!! Saved my cooler. Thanks for the great video
I still am not convinced this was a fix when all I saw was a high temp on the display and no cooling happening.
Thank you for posting that video saved my fridge
I picked one up off the side of the road yesterday. Everything is coming on, but no cooling. Have any ideas?
Relay
@@jayrink32 Thank you for the reply. Can you tell me where the relay is located?
@@IluvYahweh to the left of the compressor.
