Usually during the summer is the best time to travel from Sonora or Bridgeport the scenery is so beautiful, but I noticed that there’s snow on the mountains so it looks like during the spring. But you can see the scars from the fire a couple years ago.
I’m a bit behind on my videos and you are correct, this was toward the end of May last year. We were going from Bodie over to Yosemite and the Tioga pass was still closed. Fortunately, Sonora Pass was open and was a fantastic alternate route. I’m glad I got to drive it.

I believe Lake Leavitt is farther north off of route 395.

Hey Remy, the sign says house trailer, is that old world for RV? I’m not sure. Someone got a grader up there so?
I’m in a 25’ Class C with no trailer and some turns were a little tight.

That is so true. I believe it was $7.99/gallon at that time of recording. Ouch.
