Literally just beat Castlevania 1 for the first time a couple days ago. Did it old school on an NES with a CRT, no save states, no rewind feature, just me and my controller. Felt so good to FINALLY beat it after all these years. A Top 5 NES game for sure. 👍
Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance was my go to this October. Beat it just a few days before Halloween and man; i think its the most difficult of fall the Advance/DS Castlevanias. Great NES picks and good luck with the channel.
Awesome channel, just gave you a sub. Maniac mansion is a October must. I always kick out some Castlevania and of course Slaughter House in Genesis Monster Party is an underated one, Ghost and Goblins is awesome but so frustrating lol
I love Castlevania 2! Why do you hate it? Yeah it’s obscure as hell but what you know what to do it’s not that hard and a chill couple of hours to beat… and the music is better that CV1!
I don’t hate it, it’s just known to be the least successful and liked of the series. I’ve actually played a bit of it but I just prefer the first and third. I don’t think it’s as bad as most people say. I agree that the music is awesome though.

Castlevania is so awesome! I remember the feeling of beating it, so rewarding. Original hardware is definitely the way to go.
