Not sure if this topic has been covered - I’ve watched pretty much all of the videos but I haven’t see much on graft care after the scion has caught on a top-worked tree. I’m interested to learn what should be done once the grafts are growing. Should they be pruned? When? Should you allow them to fruit? Any help on this subject is much appreciated!
What should someone look for in a good rootstock mango tree? I know that most of us just eat a mango, plant a seed and hope it lives long & is health enough to graft on. But if you had the opportunity to have the perfect rootstock mango tree, what would be it's characteristics?

How Old are your mangoes about when you are grafting Them ?
About 6 to 9 months old. That's the easiest age to do it at. But you can graft onto older trees.
