Good presentation Cris. I understand that the graft is placed in inderect sunlight and soil moisture monitoring. Or Can you elaborate on other points on checking?

Hi Chris. Are you still using aspirin water to rehydrate you scions? Do you use any other treatments to the scions such as antifungals, soap, just general cleaning?

Which video do you explain the soaking of the scions in aspirin water? Haven’t seen you do that before.

When doing a venner graft on a potted mango tree can you keep the rootstock growing as opposed to cutting it off after the graft takes or will it dominate over the graft?

The trunk should probably be about as big as a pencil before attempting to graft to it. As to which graft will be most successful for you, that's difficult to answer. One of the most common grafts as well as one that many people start with is the top cleft graft. Best wishes.

Sadly I've come to find I SUCK at grafting. I even tried this type after watching the vid with Walter. I've had 1 good out of a dozen failures.

Try T budding mate, I graft about 1000 trees a year using this method with great success ( you can only do it in the hot seasons when the bark is slipping).
