- 👋 Here is the 2024 BMW M340i xDrive Sedan! One of the coolest sport sedans on the market! The 2024 BMW M340i packs the B58 engine paired to a mild hybrid system. With 382 Horsepower and 369 torque, the M340i can do 0-60 in 3.7 seconds! This 2024 BMW M340i was finished in Brooklyn Grey Metallic over the Tacora Red leather interior. I really like the shadow line package with all the black accents for the exterior and wheels! The M compound brakes have the red calipers and overall this is a sharp looking sedan! Driving the BMW M340i is about what you would expect. It's an easy car to drive and very smooth and comfortable. Tech works well and doesn't take too long to figure out the big screen. I like the power you get out of the B58 engine with the mild hybrid system. Very smooth delivery and you can tell the M340i has a perfect blend of comfort and performance. This car is also not too aggressive for daily driving. In comfort mode it feels like a basic 3 series. So very easy to live with on the day to day. Significantly different than an M3 for sure!

I am torn between this and the M2. Looking to buy Spring 2024.
Very different cars. M2 is much more fun to drive with more of a performances feeling. I'd go M2 for those reasons. If you want a nice normal sedan that has good power and handling characteristics this is a great option. But the M2 is a true performance car

Would you say its a good reliable/sports car? and I heard that people don't like the new ones because of the mild hybrid system and does the 2024 have the the first gen of the b58 or the second gen?
How could they not like the mild hybrid system? It only reduces turbo lag, it does not need to be plugged in or anything.
Do you prefer manual driving or keeping it auto mode?
Depends on what I'm doing. Normal driving around town I'd leave it in comfort and auto. But if I want to have more fun with the car I'd go into sport mode and use the paddles
I just found a loaded (msrp of 64k) m340i, 8600 miles, looks just like this car. I can get it for $45.5k. Debating on it.

I thought that it was bmw 340i 2020, than bmw 340i 2023 and next (I thought) will be in 2026, right? or the version of year 2023 is slightly different than 2024??? I am a little bit confused, because the 2023 bmw 340i is already albe to buy (in Europe), is it possible that someone thinks that 2023 is 2024 version or something???
The 2024 model year car are already at the dealerships here in the USA. 2024 has this larger screen vs the 2023 having the two screens
Just drove this car and was not impressed. It rides too firm (run flats) and I didnt think it was that quick or sounded especially good. It just didn't feel like a special car to me , especially for 64k. Now my 2019 ats v coupe, it feels special and steering and handling is superior, plus gm's magna ride is way better than what the germans are using . Also ats v is noticably more powerful. Just my 2 cents
Yeah I did a comparison with the M340 to my RS3. M340 is a good all around car, but I also felt it lacked that extra excitement

A real performance car should only be rear wheel drive. I think the ats v interior is plush and matches the cars price.

It’s a pretty sad state of affairs when the regular 3 series looks way better than an M3 from the same generation.
Looks are subjective, but it’s hard to see anyone preferring the huge buck teeth over this.
lol not everyone likes the M3 style. However seems like the majority of people do love that car. Once you drive one and see how it's one of the best sport sedans ever made, it's easy to fall in love with the style

This is for all owners of this 2023 BMW M340i ix, I need your help.
My new car's passenger seat heater is weak, it is NOT as good in heating as the driver's seat. This test is for both seat settings are on HIGH HEAT.
When I took my car to have this issue checked at my local BMW dealer I was told by the authorized BMW technician that this was the first time that he has seen this issue and he just saw a new BMW bulletin that says that this issue is NORMAL.
After checking your own car's passenger seat heater does it heat as good as the driver? Do you find a difference in heating on each seat?
