@@ianwidick87 I watched short-track at Whynot Speedway in eastern MS for years and never once saw any such chicanery on the track. Feels like drivers these days just don't have the respect for each other that used to be the custom. Got a problem with another driver? Duke it out with 'em (verbally or otherwise) in the pits, not on the track.
And here I thought only Hockey could suddenly involve a lot more contact.

The Hail Melon, Ross' Wild Wall Ride was truly a once-in-a-lifetime move late in the 2022 Cup season. NASCAR has banned using the wall ride for safety reasons, but it was awesome to see it succeed, even just one time.

Spinning someone is not cheating. The cars are built to bang, it's short track oval racing. Don't like being spun out, go faster or go race open wheel cars.

A two race suspension, not sure that is enough. While I have sympathy for the initial incident, you can’t have what happened next.
Behavior like that should be a permanent ban from racing. You deal with problems like that off the track when you aren't using your heavy car as a battering ram that could injure or kill people. Totally unacceptable.

@@kai325d3 pretty sure Twins Cup races some hefty bikes. I think its between 600 and 800cc which tuned right and on that banked turn can approach 180 to 190mph. You'd be surprised. Its entirely possible that in a group like that with slipstream you could be running up closer to 195-200. Them guys are crazy.

Man was genuinely pissed, but I think he was more worried about the team and results rather than damage
If you look closely, his steering wheel was turning left yet nothing happened. Propably ripped off the front left wheel or broke an axle, that's why he kept punching hit harder when the car wasn't responding. (altough it's just a guess and maybe I'm wrong, I've to admit I thought the same as you when I first saw the clip )
