The ending of this song is what elevates country music for me. He’s talking about loving someone so much, then it turns out he is the one that made the biggest regret of his life. Love how they use that wordplay to turn the love song on its head.
Oh my gosh, I love this song its so beautiful and full of passion, I could listen to it over and over again. I love Blake Shelton. Such an amazing artist! No wonder he has won The Voice three times in a row already! Hoping for this season to be his 4th win!

What a fabulous song! My favorite country song, period! I have listened to it on repeat for hours on end, and I don't even have that lost love! It's just a great song in terms of story, wording, passion, music, timing, etc. The sound of it is great! Make a hundred more like it. Haven't yet heard who wrote it or the story behind it, but it's awesome!

I can remember her going nuts when Austin came out. I honestly didn't get to the "love" Blake till a couple years ago.
His personality reminds me of my late husband and my husband's favorite down time was being in the woods and hunting. He started having health issues and both legs had to be amputated but he had a wonderful friend that built a couple pods and he would drive right up and got in for the day. He lived to hunt and enjoyed just sitting in the woods. I think this is why I love this song!
