Bonding over us both having absent parents and being raised by our grandmothers... Unfortunately our guardians thought they knew better... That we were "too young to know what love is" and he was sent back to live with his father in Arizona. We both did our best to move on, going as far as to have other relationships and even kids. I have an ex that lied to me and stuff, but I think of what I could have done to make her stay and not go down that path.. Through all this, I still wish we could have worked it out.. I really did love her and still a part of me does.Even after all this, her lies, her ignoring me, and her hating me, I still wish her the best in life and there will always be a part of me that loves and cares for her.. And this song summed up what I was feeling through that first few months.

This song has nothing to do with what I'm going through in my life right now. I'm having a lot of hardships, but nothing to do problems in my love life. But I heard it on the radio for the first time in a long time, and it just made me cry. I don't know why. Just a good emotional song I guess.
