𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀, 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: Lixia's Story

𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗮, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱.
When Lixia was outed by accident, she never imagined that the community that she found comfort in would reject her for who she is. But through finding time to connect with herself and experiencing true friendship and acceptance, Lixia was able to find courage and chart her own path in life.
We wanted to tell Lixia’s story because sometimes, because of our gender identity and sexual orientation, we are rejected for who we are by the ones that we love and trust the most.
To everyone out there who has doubted themselves, Lixia would like to say to you: ‘’Trust yourself, to trust your journey and to not be afraid to take the road less travelled, because that will make all the difference in your life.’’
The Heartweavers want to help empower the LGBTQ community and those who have been hurt like Lixia, to find the courage and chart a course to live life powerfully, regardless of challenge and circumstance.
