- Story behind our routine:
When DD came out, the theme spoke to me immediately. I pictured the journey of SM and I wanted to paint the story of our growth. I had the lippys start by entering the arena, showing us entering the dressage scene as a new club who was ready to face whatever the world would throw at us. Back then, our dressage wasn't perfect or too advanced, so the theme fit perfectly. I stuck with simple moves but had the riders move across the arena so simple moves would catch the eye of the viewer. We slowly had the moves go up to intermediate, as well as introducing the canter, a gait that many dread when you're just getting used to it. After this, you see the transition to the more recent version of SM. Starting at intermediate and working its way to advanced/elite, the routine showcases a bunch of different moves and gaits, as well as using more aspects of the arena for our moves which is something we picked up along the way. We threw in some original moves to show our growth and learning, and we ended it with our past and current horses, making the "SM" initials. I am so proud of this club and everything we've accomplished and this routine holds a special place in my heart because it showcases our story.

Don't be afraid to fail! Everyone makes mistakes including us! We recommend you look at Star Stable Dressage as that's what we base our Dictionary off of
