As someone with average sized ears but tiny ear canals, I can’t wear AirPod Pros at all. I’m still hanging on with my AirPods First Gen. I would try these simply because they wouldn’t use my ear canal as the way to stay attached.
Great review. Only looked this up due to the announcement this week from Bose about using them as rear surround speakers for their new soundbar and later this fall for the Smart Ultra soundbar which I own. I think they are ridiculously overpriced, but I'll be very curious to hear your thoughts about this new rear speaker use case. That might push me over the line to give them a try.
Been thinking about those bose. I wish sennheiser would make some since their open ear headphones are the best I've tried. Sennheiser seems to be going all in on closed back.
I got Bluetooth ear buds pro fr Apple ( immersive capable)Bose QC 35 ll( I barely used since I had it,new y Sports type y the other type y Beats) y Bluetooth speakers y huge floor standing speakers y satellite speakers ( a vintage y operating still); I just bought a Martin OM 0028 y a Yamaha FG9 rosewood guitars…I love good sounds though nothing is perfectly made
"Very impressive" sound?? I’m usually very careful and picky with my tech, and I have to say, I’m really surprised by your positive review. Although these looked like a solid option from a reputable brand, after using them myself I’m extremely disappointed. Unless you’re in a perfectly quiet room, these don’t come close to the brand’s usual standard. The comfort isn’t on par with over-ears, the Bluetooth connection is unreliable and clunky, and the sound quality is far below what you’d expect from Bose. At lower volumes (around 40%), the sound is decent, but only if you're in a silent space and this is just not realistic.
Don’t forget these are based on performance for open-ear design earbuds. I’ve not come across any other open-ear buds that sound as impressive as these. I thought I was quite clear with that distinction.
Ultra buds look great but Im not paying 300 for earbuds ever. They better make a version two thats much better if they want that kinda money. Plus the mic quality is absolute dogsh**
Best opening line I've ever heard from a review video. Liked, following.
Much appreciated!
this pair of earbuds sound really enticing. regular earbuds make my ear canal itch a lot lol
Same, lol
Great review, thank you. I also need the phone option. Which one is better in the mic category? Beyerdynamic or Bose?
Thank. you! They perform similar to each other. I have yet to come across headphones that sound considerably better than the rest when used for calls.

These are definitely good options. Also consider the BeyerDynamics Verio 200

Thank you! I’ve not heard about that feature yet so I appreciate you letting me know. I’ll try to dig for more info.

I agree. I love Sennheisers and I hope they come up with their own spin on open-ear earbuds.

The sound from the Bose is much better than the AirPods and the Bose can be worn all day with no issues.
I respectfully disagree with the Bose sounding better than AirPods but they definitely do sound good

@@MichaelSoledad honestly, agree to disagree. I don't find "impressive" describe these at all. Appreciate the reply.

Can't you just turn off the noise cancelling on regular earbuds? I have the ultra earbuds and they are awesome for all applications
Yes, but having physical open ear design is much better in my experience than any sound transparency software I’ve experienced so far
That looks so ridiculous
