Fun video. I didn't you had been a teacher. How cool is that!! You had a paper that had a paint brush on it which would have been to cut it out for a tag, etc. Making these types of background is enjoyable and easy. Thank you for sharing
Thank you so much Tracie, I really really love ❤️ those papers you’ve made, the patterns and colours are stunning and gorgeous too. I’m really really looking forward to seeing what you do next with these. Lovely to see you Tracie, I really don’t know when I saw you last 😳🤔😕☹️ so I’m really really impressed with those paper’s. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
This was fabulous Tracie!!! It’s so fun to just sit at your desk and play!!! I’m so looking forward to watching your journal come together!!! Big hugs, Sharon 🌷💕
Oh my goodness my friend. This was an amazing video. Not only for your content which I looove soo much, but I suffer from Lupus and fibromyalgia and a lot of things that come with it. The one I struggle with most is PTSD nd severe depression besides the 24/7 pain. This video was soo utterly calming and lovely to see the progress of the journal pages come to life and the amazingly calming music with it. I have been crying for days on end and this is what my soul needed. Thank you soo much. God bless. Nicky from South Africa xxxxxxxxxxxx
Oh my days, sweetheart, this has made my day. Not that you suffer so much...for that I am truly sorry! But I have given you a little calm. You take care huni and thank you so much for watching and commenting x
I need to share my trick with you. When making these painty papers, put one layer of paint down, let it dry. Then, put your second color down and scrape it down with cc in random scrapes in just one direction. You will get the underneath color coming through. Then do it again. As many times as you like. I also use a gel scraper, then sprits while it’s stil moist, and you’ll get super white dots. It will be really smooth too if you just keep scraping with the cilicone scraper until you are happy. This is a great trick for wood grain. Hope you get this ! Let me know please!
Great to see you working sooo freely.... really helpful to see how you use your gel plate willy-nilly. I'm still a bit scared of mine so you have inspired me to just get on with it. Thanks!
The last frame of this video with all the papers laid out is awesome eye candy--you might have to make a digital kit with your completed backgrounds!!!
Beautiful prints! I love the dark blue, purple one. Not my usual colors either, but I really think it’s pretty. It has a bit of a celestial feel about it. Fun to watch you play, Tracie! ❤️

I think they all look awesome, especially the blue and purple one 😁 now i just want to get out my gelli plate and paint and play, it was so relaxing to watch. on to the next video xoxo
I really enjoyed this video, love the music you chose too 😊 Great way to use the corrugated cardboard to make grid effects 👌 Can't wait to see what you do next 😊 xx
I have missed your videos. Definitely need to check into the foxy rag. I keep forgetting about it. I hope you stick it out with the rag. I think over time it will become more popular and more of a regular purchase for alot of us.
Thoroughly enjoyed this and it gave me so many ideas, thank you. Was so worried about you, not having posted a video for a while and am glad to see you back.
We use our gelli plate prints for all types of projects from collage, atc's, journal page backgrounds... The grungy ones are great for adding texture and can be used as-is or altered with other media.
That was great. I love what you call rejects. And it was encouraging to watch your pieces morph from plain to interesting. I don't need all the chatter and indecision. I loved the speeded up version, thank you. Great Rag too. I bought it, downloaded the digis, but haven't had time to read it. Must have missed the discounts. 😉 Again. Keep up the play. Helen. I love this video Tracie, this is right up my street! 😊😊 I’ve been playing with some mixed media painted backgrounds and it was fun to see yours! TFS Take care! 💗💗
I think your papers are lovely...this was fun watching you create new ones & re-imagine others!! I think we are often our own worst critic...be kind to yourself, enjoy the process & continue to be brave!! 😊💖
You had so much fun there. I was fussy cutting your layered tags when this popped up lol. Love that you are back to videos. Missed you doing them. Hugs xxxx

Oooh, you made some lovely papers there! I am off to get my copy of the Foxy Rag, it looks great - I will also give it a mention in my channel (probably Saturday now) like I did last time!
So, do you say the paints “aren’t up your street” because of the quality of the brand or because of those particular colors. I ask because I have seen some pretty negative reviews of the Arteza paints, but knowing that many times reviews have more to do with personal taste as opposed to quality of the product, so I’m curious.
I dont do bright in any brand other than teal :-D I am not a fan of red/yellow/orange/blue! I usually go neutrals. I LOVE the Arteza metallic so it is nothing to do with the brand at all. xx
Hey there!!! Love your videos!!! ♥️♥️♥️. Just ordered Foxy Rag Issues 4 & 5. Just curious - do you not really like Arteza Acrylic Paints or the particular colors you are using. Sorry to be so nosy. I am trying to build my Golden & Paper Artsy collections but I just bought quite a large box of Arteza Acrylic Paints. I just want to know what to watch out for!!! I am very new to your channel & to mixed media in general & specifically to gel press printing. Thanks a lot!!! ♥️♥️♥️. PS - I love the blue pages!!! 💙💙💙
I dont mind the Artza paint I am just not keen on some of my colours. I like the metalics. These are thicker paints so it changes the way you use them. I love the colour changing paints but find them a little expensive and I dont use all the colours in the box. I really like the Deco art paints, cheaper and the right consistency for me. I also LOVE the Paper Artsy paints but again, chnge how I use them as they dry fast. xx
Hi Traci, I bought the Foxy Rag yesterday and went to your Etsy shop but the code did not work. You mentioned in the video that it would be good for another 7 days. Thank you!
Your background so really speak to a person if you cut them into smaller pieces and put faces with them or a person off in the background they really say something
Yea, have missed your videos. Love my Foxy Rag magazine. Keep pushing us to try the new and different.😁😁❤️❤️
