Thanks for sharing. My favorite pieces were the pink, orange with black flowers hand drawn on, pink circles, and the blue, pink and orange piece that you drew scribbles with white posca pen on. Look forward to seeing what you create using these painty papers.

I’ve never been more dissatisfied with a paint product as I did with these dylusion paints. Mine dried up as well and I always made sure to put the lid on well. No reason they should have done this and I had nearly the entire collection. They were beautiful and cool as long as they didn’t dry up but …oh well.

I love painty papers. This is what I use in my art work. I have a few bought paper packs, but seldom use it. I prefer painty papers. You made some pretty papers!

I LOVE these painty paper videos!! I am battling a nasty case of creative resistance and these types of videos really help inspire me to sit down and just exercise my creativity. I’m working on making papers with my older paints so I have a collection ready for when I can start doing art journaling and collage. Anytime you make painty paper videos, I will watch them (along with your other awesome videos)!! ⭐️Can you please make another video making collage fodder using the gel plate?? I too struggle with creative resistance. I have resisted doing anything but lay in bed and read my fantasy books for the last several days. Most of the time I can get in the studio and just push around paint until I feel better. This always gives me great ideas and inspiration. I’ve been trying to do my own painted papers and recently bought a gelli plate…and I’m so bad at it. So seeing this other way of creating the sheets is so much appreciated!
You can still do the gel plate! Most likely you are just adding too much paint. Don't skip it...it is the best way. But this is fun too!

Shel, love your work here. Using smaller stencils yields a lovely batik look! Can you share where you bought your multiple small stencils?
Hi :) My favorite stencil maker/seller is StencilGirl products. Here is a link www.stencilgirlproducts.com/stencils-by-Shel-C-s/2157.htm They have a large collection of ATC size stencils from various artists where you get 9 on one sheet (including my designs) Then I cut them up and put them on a ring ;)

Pink and orange is one of my favourite colour combinations atm too!
Have you ever thought about scanning your painted papers and selling them as digital downloads? Or would there be copyright issues from using Stencil girl stencils?
The color combo is hot hot hot! LOL StencilGirl is an angel company..but not sure about their digitally used policy.

In mixed media we have the freedom to make as many layers as we want! Go for it :)
All of my dylusion paints did the same thing and I tried to revive them but I
had to throw them away, l will never buy them again their just simply not worth the money that they charge for them for them to dry out that way,and plus I wasn't all that impressed by them they are built off more hype then anything.
