Thanks man! I'm thinking you and I are the only ones that like the cassettes. lol. Speaking of cassettes, I have a pretty good Off the Wall scheduled for Saturday, a good ole Texas band. Thanks for watching and for the support. \m/
Back in the day I had a mix of both. Once I got my license and my car, it had a tape deck in it, so I started buying more tapes. I dig them, sometimes it's easier to pull a tape off the wall and jam out then to dig through my records, I like them both though. I have a new episode of Off the Wall (My Cassette Collection Series) dropping at midnight tonight. I share a classic debut album from a Texas sleazy hard rock party band. Thank you for watching. \m/
Thanks man. You need to check out Obsession, killer band. I was stoked to get the JP and Savatage records. Thanks for watching and for the support. \m/
Great stuff dude. Early to mid 80's traditional metal is about unbeatable. I feel the same way about Savatage. Didn't really start digging them until I got much older.
Yeah, it's weird how that happens, taste change. I am really enjoying finding and listening to these bands. Man, I missed out on some killer stuff back in the day. But hey, better now than never. Thank you for watching. 🤘
@@somedudeintexas you are exactly right. The thrill of finding / discovering a new band is great. Doesn't matter if that band has been around for years. It's still new to us. I love when that happens
I’ve always liked Fight for the Rock, even though a lot of people say it’s the worst Savatage album. Granted there’s probably one or two duds on that album, but I really like songs like Fight for the Rock, Red Light Paradise, Edge of Midnight and Hyde. Power of the Night is a killer album. Sin After Sin’s underrated, especially because it’s wedged in between Sad Wings of Destiny and Stained Class. Killer album too.
Yeah, I agree. Fight for the Rock isn't that bad of an album. I like Power of the Night better though. Sin after sin is killer, you can't go wrong with Judas Priest. Thanks for watching and for the support. \m/
Yeah, I was surprised to see the Saint tape at a local shop. Good band, a blatant rip off of Priest but very good. That Savatage album isn't that bad, I like it. Thank you for watching and for the support. \m/
Well, that would explain why they remind me of Loudness. At least my ears are still working. Lol. I am really enjoying that Obsession album, killer band. Thanks for watching and chiming in, I appreciate it. 🤘
Awesome haul. I love those cassettes man! Keep it coming…..

Awesome tapes, especially that one from Hawaii. I have been picking up tapes recently. I never cared for them back in the day but now appreciate them.

Good stuff you picked up. Not bad, that Saint album. That Savatage album isn't as bad as people say it is IMO.
