It also brings beautiful memories of my youth. KISS brought so much fun back in the mid seventies they were everywhere in the record shops , toy stores, billboards, magazine stands, 7-Eleven stores and TV. It was great.
I was a huge KISS fan in the 70s. I was 15 years old when "Hotter Than Hell" was released and was the first KISS album that I bought. I kept on being a KISS fan until "KISS unmasked" came out in 1980. I wish I had gotten the 4 solo albums, but I didn't. This video really brought back memories. I still own all my KISS albums it looks like I need to dig them out to see if I still have the inserts.
Just found you, here in Australia, huge kiss fan, love this 70s insert knowledge. I too thought my solo albums were incomplete with finding only peters insert. Alive II and that disappointing gatefold being sticky, I've had to stick an outer sleeve inbetween just incase.. missing my Kiss Army sticker in my Originals set which is disappointing. You forgot KISS Originals II though with the masks, now that's an awesome set... glad i found you buddy, would love you to do a video and rate the discography.. look forward to more videos...
@@Music4thsoul hello to Australia from Indiana! I unfortunately don't have a nice copy of The Originals II. I was going just off of the US stuff because that is what I mostly collect. I would love to get a complete Originals II though so when I do, I'll make a video about it! So glad you found me too! I was just thinking about doing some ranking video so I'm going to work on that. Thanks for watching!
Peter left the band shortly after shandi music video. Anton fig played on dynasty as well. Eric Carr joined kiss for the unasked era. Peter was on the cover so they could sell albums.
Great video! My buddy has the assembled Love Gun. It makes a pretty loud snap. Super fun. He also has the Gene poster from his solo album. It is rectangle only though - no puzzle pieces. I wonder if that was a separate printing? That would be odd though, with the amount that came back. Anyone know the story?

For me Alive 2 is the best of their inserts and packaging. With the solos a close second
@@botboy6977 yes, the Alive II stuff is awesome!

@@Vince_Tasciotti you should check it out! There are a few good things on there.
Waiting and waiting for your merch order. It would take months to get to Canada.

@@machupikachu1085 thanks so much! I know that the Canadian solo albums came with non-puzzle piece posters.
@@siplesrecords Thanks for the reply. That makes sense. He's from Canada LOL
@ HA!
Didn't the promo copy of the first album come with a poster?
@@charlesbronson4282 I don't believe that has ever been proven. I know a lot of people have said that, but it's pretty hard telling.
Yeah find one with a teen age James hetfields signature would go for a trillion lol
