Trolling for Pike, First session of the season

- So with the water temperature down and the changes on the way, today was the first Pike session of the 2022/23 season and we decided to Troll for Pike.
I had a friend Keith and his Brother Steven out with me and there was a little bit of a competition between the 3 if us for one of Keith's old trophys and of course bragging rights!
Fishing was slow enough but we still ended up with a few fish, I still feel its a few weeks away yet from them properly coming on the feed but a very enjoyable day none the less

How do you find the 100hp for slow trolling?
I have a suzuki 50hp on a Seahog Alaska 500xl (similar to a warrior 165) and the slowest I can get down to is 4.1 kmph.
Thinking about getting a drogue to throw out the back.
I have been use a trolling sock and it's been taking me down to 1.6-1.8mph and has been working perfectly.
I have a min kota on the way but just using this in the mean time

Not yet Andrew, its a dream. Only downfall is the fuel consumption compared to the last boat but that's to be expected

Nothing wrong with them, Savage have just sent me a few new samples to try so going to sell on the inline rods
Any good fishing spots in County Antrim?
How does the lines not get tangled with all the lines out?
The planer boards I use pulls the outside lines out away from the boat, I will try to do a video on this at some point
