- Today we took a break from casting for pike and we were trolling for pike and trolling for big pike was the goal. We had some great success on the savagegear 4d line thru roach, savagegear 4d line thru trout in 40cm and savagegear 3d line thru trout 40cm. At first it looked like we made the wrong choice but best lure for big pike was chosen correctly.

Hi mate. Great video. May I ask what speeds to you troll lures at?. And what speeds would you consider doing during say autumn then into winter. I do A bit of trolling but not with lures just dead baits. Looking to try lures👍
Anything around 2 mph is good enough. Depending on the lure once its working at that speed it's good
What rods do you troll with Ryan is it the sg4 big bait specialist? What do you think of them
its the 220g think its the big bait 110 and also the sg4 8'6 150g :) i like them i alo enjoy casting with both

yes it does indeed. Iv a sd card in it and it maps as i go.
@@freak.fishing sound Ryan...definitely thinking of getting the lowrance reveal 9...did you get the C-maps on it or know anything about them?U can buy a C-map for Ireland and UK but dont know much about them.

Maybe turning the trolling engine off on hook up you might not have to beast them in might help x
