I own 2 Aimpoint ACRO P-2's and 1 C-2... I have them mounted on a G47, a Berretta A300 Ultima Patrol (12guage) and the C-2 is on a CMMG Banshee (45 ACP). I have several thousand rounds on each of them with no issues. Rock solid optics!
I’ve had the acro p-2 on my Glock 17 gen5 mos for since may of 2023 I’ve put around 10k rounds with it and have had zero issues been my daily carry mainly open as I live on a farm and I am in all kinds of weather and have taken several classes and have had zero restrictions on it and have beat it to death dot is still clean and crisp and has held zero the whole time and when I first got it as my first dot on a handgun I noticed how easy it was to find and to shoot and it’s my one pick for handgun optic and same goes for the Glock 17 gen 5 mos ive never shot a handgun better then that one and that’s why I pick it for my daily
Haven’t had any reliability issue with both of my Acros, but I did have the “oil” issue for both of them. I believe it’s a lube they use. I sent in one for cleaning and it took 6 weeks to get back to me. Didn’t bother with the second one. I have since switched to the RMR HD and have been very happy with it.
Looking forward to the light videos Freedom. I use a lot of hand held, and headlamp lights in my professions. Check out Milwaukee's rechargeable lights they work for me as an EDC and construction worker/fireworks operator. Thanks for the videos from all of us in the back.
Just looks like a sporting set-up with a brick on the pistol. For EDC carry, one must look at a small red dot like the RMR, etc, and suppressor sights.
have an early 2023 p2 and it does have a spec of epoxy dust or something in the lens, but it doesn’t matter when shooting so i never bothered with it. this same acro’s locking bar sheared off straight through the middle of the clamp at around 2500 rounds. have another fde p2 from late 2023 and it hasn’t had a single issue or “blem” in the glass.
I have the Steiner MPS and it’s good, I like it better than the ACRO. It’s best if the slide is cut for the acro mount. Solid and sits perfect on my custom 17, easy to acquire sight.
Uncle Freedom, What brand and model push dagger do you prefer? And sheath, did you order a Kydex? I heard the clips on the back of some of these are not up to par.
@@unclefreedom213 Looking forward to it. Saw the vid where it caused issues at the MOS class. I'm building a duty 17.5 and that's an item I'd like to add.
Solid optic I didn't include it on the mentions just because they weren't ever marketed as a duty optic so never in the running on my end. But for everyday stuff I have one and love it currently on a G19
❤❤❤❤❤. Liked n commented. Now going to neighbor s mailbox with plirs to remove n bring home n try to suspend in the center with spider wire fishing string an old used tritium front sight then tell use glad wrap for the ends😮😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
My P2 dot died. The linkage that controlled the vertical adjustment of the dot no longer would work. Aimpoint gave me a new optic but disappointed to say the least.
EPS is the current king, best glass and it's pretty tough (maybe not quite as bomb proof as the acro for your duty use case). And at $200+ less than the acro
@@unclefreedom213 I mean I was just joking. But you have a Bear? How is it? I was thinking about grabbing one for a cheap 9mm AR I threw together out of spare parts I had laying around, to get into PCC competitions. I know the seals tend to fail on them the first time they’re dropped, but I am interested in something enclosed since it’ll be mounted offset and fairly close to the ejection port on a dirty blowback rifle.
I never thought i would like that optic just based on looks and now i want one😂 good review!
Steiner is better. The window is larger. P2 has a tiny window and massive housing.
Are you in Nebraska? Checkin in from Omaha..!! Great content.

Never heard of cat crap anti fog so thanks for that info! Really appreciate the review.
Great review!
I just bought an RMR HD. I am excited to try it.
Trijicon all the way! Aimpoint is also great!
I have a pretty good experience with the Acro P2. What I like the most is how consistent my dot presentation is paired with my Glock. Good video.
I love my RMR and I love my ACOG but when it comes to a closed emitter pistol sized RDS I had to go with the P-2.
Informative. My phone rang while you were talking too so sorry about that lol
I have been digging the MPS. I only wish it had a few more brightness settings to fine tune the brightness.
PB1 is crisp and bright.
Ive been really enjoying the MPS. Would love to try the ACRO and L&S PB3
Acro sucks. PB is crisp.

Good real life review,,Thanks!

Have you seen the B&T Acro cut? It uses stock height sights and shaves some off the bottom of the Acro. It’s only available on a Non-MOS slide.
8:40 I can relate to that I work in private armed security gun, so my gun is smash into stuff with my hips.

Pretty sure ghostmen design just made a new optics hood for the safariland holsters
I went with the L&S PB-3, Impressed so far

They aren't. Don't know an alternative right now tho
I noticed no Ramjet/Afterburner (still). Should I save my money?
He went to a class where the Ramjet made his G45 malfunction. I watched a video where he talked about it.
@@J.Young808buy it. Best upgrade I have paid for.
Trigger shoe was the only other upgrade I wanted.
it's back doing some testing there will be an update soon

Any experience or thoughts on the EPS?

For those algorithms.
BROTHER
I had the same realization with my P-2... I am able to quickly pick up the dot much more consistently than with my 507K and 507Comp optics.

Rcr & p-2 are almost the same price
Where all the RCRs I've seen are 775+
@ jeez I think the price went up when I got mine I was finding them for 645 everywhere 775 is too much

No: buy Steiner. The window is actually large enough to use.
P2 is an enclosed RMR…trash.
Mannnn, that Acro is way too expensive, just get a Cyelee Bear. Same flippin’ optic but way cheaper.
lmao not quite
if by same you mean it's an enclosed emitter optic sure. Nowhere near the same thing and I have one.

The p2, trijicon and the new EOTech red dot, are ALL not worth the money. They all fail. Especially the SRO and P2.
