Tanks are top priority, specially those your teammates can't reach easily. Enemy planes are important too. Also, don't be in the air for longer than needed. Spending the match in a plane may get you a lot of kills, but you will be more useful on the objective.
@@samanyupalthi If you're using the 110 in Normandy they are so far along the wing that they are very hard to aim, but they probably can with a direct hit. Would be nice if the 37mm on the 110 fired AP tho.

When doing a dive, I always go to an altitude of over 800m, reduce my speed before diving, I found that it helps with controlling the speed you are going as you're essentially using gravity and momentum to do your bombing run. Helps you pull up from the dive and not crash on your target And when pulling up, I do it at max throttle for that easy lift
I think that flying IL-2 on Moscow is the best way to practice CAS against the real players, tanks have paper armor, you get alot of bombs and rockets and most importantly, Moscow axis players are 80% braindead.
Also, quick tip on rockets: - your crosshair does NOT point were your rockets are going to land. Besides what Quadro commented on the position of these, these are going to land in a position under the crosshair, aproximately a quarter of the lower bar of the cross .This is because of their weight. - to counter this and get more precise run, you either shoot at 300m of the objective, or u compensate the drop by aiming just a bit higher. It takes some to get used to it, but then it’s rewarding
@@carterjones8126 its the best fighter in normadie axis! The rockets give bonus kills. Its definitely unstable and can be easily killed by the p-47 or p-38 if they get on the tail. Bf-109 are quicker in taking down enemy planes, but when there is no enemy plane in the air, you are useless
I wish I'd had this video when I unlocked the BF109 on battle of Berlin a few years ago. I learned a lot of this just through trial and error, but im glad i suffered through figuring out how to fly bc its my favorite thing to do (even if the Axis planes suffer at high BR)
New Tiger II is much better, no weakspot on the turret. Its the best tank in the game. New IS-2 has a .50 on top which is very useful while the gun is reloading New Sherman/Panther are just very slightly better version of the existing tanks.
@@slumphub its supposed tp have a improvement in armour of the turret! The Sherman also has turret improvement, the IS 2 has some railings and the tiger 2, is getting a slightly improved armour overall! None of it really matters and you won't even notice it in the battle.
Idk how but when I used p38 it just doesn’t kill tanks as much at it does because my past I constantly kill so much heavy tanks but it just can’t kill anymore in the front
Good points! I would add a few which I have found useful: 1) Accuracy trumps dumping. If you are approaching the target area but don't really have a good idea about where to put your payload, it's better to look for targets and/or use only a portion of your bombs/rockets to "test the waters", turn around and do another run, with hopefully a better idea about where the enemies are. 2) Don't get too attached to your aircraft. Good CAS definitely can help your team alot and score kills, but boots on the ground are the most important thing for actually winning. Especially if the objective is closed (so bombing it does very little and enemy tanks/planes also cannot do much), it's usually much better to do a final CAS run and jump from the plane to hunt enemy rallies/start an insurgency/anything else. Same applies if the enemy does not use their tanks effectively (killfeed is not popping with tens of cannon kills), or if you find that you have just a lot of empty time in the air. Every second you are flying to rearm or just assess the battlefield, you are not causing death and destruction, so if your runs are not having much of an effect on the ground, it's better to get on ground yourself. 3) Play the objective even when flying. Dislodge & dismember the enemies from the point, prevent enemy tanks from terrorizing your team on the point or on the way there, and cut off the enemy reinforcements to the point (and destroy their rallies if you are lucky and/or know the map's usual rally point building areas well). If your team is not capping, destroy enemies on the point. If your team is capping, prevent enemies from attacking the point.
Is there any way to not get killed by mortars when flying low to avoid AA guns because every time I fly low to avoid aa guns on open maps like Tunisia and quarry I get hit with a mortar shell when flying near the point or spawn I may just be extremely unlucky
Speaking of planes like the ju-188 and the me410. Is there anyway we can get a aiming guide for those planes quadro? Don't get me wrong I am a very good and experienced pilot. But the lack of reference points in those planes has been a Crux for me to learn how to aim their drops.
Personally I would recommend using your altitude and distance towards the objective to learn how to drop your bombs for them as generally that’ll be the closest you get to a reference point in them
wether i fly the p51, or the ju188, i have zero problems bombing the enemies. My biggest feed is to destroy 2 tanks and 2 planes in a single p51 bombing run. Also did this with the 188 a couple of times, but more bombs, not as impressive. My strategy is riskier though. Instead of diving, i slow down and drop at the correct time. Knowing when to drop on each plane helps a lot with this
I have a question which I couldn't solve my own. how can be a good bomber with large scale bomber such as A-20 and SB-2m? I rather like to use small scale bombers such as P-47 and IL-2 for nimble maneuverability and accurate bombing. The reason why I'm not good at larger plane is, I have no idea how to drop bombs precisely. And I don't want to use carpet bombing tactics because I rather take precisely shooters for better result if I have to.
You can still dive, even with the bigger planes! Just dont go overboard. Remember, with the A-20 and JU-188, youve got way more bombs, so youve got much bigger margin of error. Drop into a shallow dive, drop those bombs and you should be able to do some serious damage
You play mostly using rockets... point and click... not like pros using sbd2 or ju87. I killed like 8 tanks and even outturned enemy fighters in tunisia with me old good ju87. Average player in my opinion.
Will custom matches still be able to be played solo? Whilst me also getting to pick my campaign when the campaign merge happens? Or, will I be forced to PVP online? If I can, and only play Berlin, will I rank up other campaigns too? I have never used rockets but have mastered dive bombing with the SBD Dauntless, should I get a plane with rockets or should I stay in my dive bombing role I’m a great fighter pilot but there are not enough hostile planes to make a fighter plane worth it
its not that easy when since last updates all my planes Feel like flying on 5fps Super slow And harder to handle then before , and no its not only my pc my friend experiencing same issue with way more advanced pc then mine And mine is way above minimal requirements .

I ignore players who do that as spamming it isn't going to make it happen any faster, especially since I don't go out of my way to mark things especially for random players

@@samanyupalthi Yeh sadly german planes in Normandy kinda suck at killing tanks, I usually just take a fighter to kill the endless waves of P-47s.

I have been having so much fun since I unlocked the FW-190 in Normandy... what a fun plane for shooting down p47s
most pilots I run into are very easy to shoot down since 90% of the time they just full throttle and overshoot you

Pacific is the best campaign to learn how to fly and do CAS is my opinion.

I had a game last night where my AI gunners in the JU shot down 6 Allie planes... glorious
my highest is 12 kills with the ai gunners lol I would chase the enemy planes with the ju 188
I just keep spamming in chat untill someone marks the enemy for me
