  • In this episode, the Loon crew reposition Loon for Beaulieu-sur-Mer to Naples, Italy, to pick up their first charter of the season.
Spend time with Captain Paul on the bridge as he discusses the passage.
Dylan and the Deckhands scrub some teak.
Sonja spends some time detailing inside.
The girls get a day off and go climb Mount Vesuvius
We are excited to announce the launch of our Loon Crew Patreon account. Members will get exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the crew and even have the opportunity to join the crew onboard for a member lunch.

This week, we had a quick little passage down Naples. We were blessed with great weather the whole way, so everyone was able to get some work done. If you haven't seen the live stream of this docking, head over to the live playlist and check it out. **spoiler: Steve nearly lost his first drone** 😜
As always thank you for watching, and appreciate all of you 🛥🥂

I don’t understand how this boat actually makes money… I”m sure I just got bad info from google 😅. Costs about $7M year to operate…. Then another video said they had like 6 or 7 charters… which makes only about $6M or so in revenue…. Maybe it’s 6 or 7 charters each season, not per year……

Hey guys. Loon has to make money, it's a business model so far so good. But what are the owners doing about the negative impact on our environment? This should matter in these days. This isn't meant to be a criticism. I'm interested in it and especially when you're in the public, you can set a good example and I'm pretty sure many customers would support this. If Loon wants to continue to anchor in these beautiful places, you should do something. A win for marketing and a win for our environment.

I love your videos but if I was thinking of chartering a yacht there's one thing that would give me pause - the apparent lack of diversity of the crew. All the deck crew and engineers are male with women relegated to things like housekeeping. The crew is also white. Maybe I'm not typical of those who charter yachts but seeing it for a week would prove jarring for me.
