Camerawork and editing is of a much higher level than lately! Well done.
Dylan has been crushing it. Giving Steve a run for his money for sure!
Very well done, including staying out of the drone crashing club
@@robertmcleod2337Blair owns that title.
Yes, totally agree 👍
@@coachster no one cares about him. you people are so fkin weird
Thanks to all for watching this 3-part Atlantic crossing series. Was great being behind the camera for a little bit, but Stevie is back and it’s time for me to take that deckhand title back from Davey!
You rocked it Dyl! Thank you for the last 3 weeks of content!
Outstanding! It’s amazing how you zeroed in on the most interesting details to highlight. I could watch for hours.
Great Job Dylan! Nice shots and perfect editing!🎥
Top notch job Dylan. Stevie has to step up now!
Small question here, how do the bow mooring lines work. In Imperia they went into the water, do they have any marking for grabbing them?
This is definitely my favorite channel on UA-cam! I know nothing about yachts, I live on a cattle ranch in the middle of nowhere Arizona and I find this whole lifestyle fascinating. This crew is brilliant, professional and crazy fun. The teamwork is incredible. Keep the videos coming!!!!!
Davey seems to be much more comfortable around the Camera. He did a great Job filling in for the Captain as a Narrator.
I was just thinking this ! Has become a fantastic presenter... filling the spots with information... Captain Paul will have a run for his $$$ soon 😊
Thanks so much for watching this epic video. Lovely crossing and Imperia looks amazing as a base. I have joined the Patreon.. awesome guys 🥳🎉🎉🎉
You can't lose Dean. One day he'll start postimg on his channel again and regain his status as a former icon....aboard a former Icon. That's kismet? Lol. Love Dean. Even thouffh he sleeps in a freezer but he is amazing. He broke his leg not too long ago as well. Getting tipsy in Greece.
Loving the camera work. Before the subject of the discussion was barely shown, now we get plenty of shots. Awesome change.
Deviating from the planned route to sail closer to a land mass certainly worked out for Costa Concordia..
Haha yep..
Sonja has the kindest eyes! @1:56
this boat is EASILY one of the sexiest on the GLOBE!!!!!!!
This channel should be at a million subs already. Let's go people!! Tell your friends!!
Passed you guys last night heading into Split. Enjoy this beautiful weather after yesterday’s storm.
Very cool! Yea today is much nicer than yesterday. 😎
So good portraying the serious amount of work crew do. It’s a vocation.
What I think Paul does really great is switching mode from serious mode to fun mode and vice versa
Ben and crew great and safe sail across the Atlantic.
I will volunteer as tribute to play the dead, wounded or drowning person in all drills for a ride on the boat. That way the whole crew gets to contribute! Win win!
Awesome video. Thankfully you all had actually a really good crossing. I guess the Tender will actually be picked up next video once the work on her is complete. I was hoping to meet the new Sous chef as you did say you were picking her up. Okay until next video later
Love the 80's synth vibe right out of the gate!!!! Hell yes!!! Cheers all you Loonatics! Awesome Vid as always!
Just became a Loonie! Love this channel!
Hey Dylan excellent job there man!! Was great being on board the MY Loon via our Lounge recliner chairs. The whole crew is so professional and good to see that the Captain and Chief gave you guys bit of a swim time before the start of the hectic charter season. Great to see also that the muster went well good time to trial before the charter guests board. Do you also do a pre charter safety drill with the charter guests. Good onya Captain Ben, we didn’t see too much of you but what we did was great, good to see that the crew respects you. Well guys until the next episode be safe, take care and God Bless you all. 😇👍🛳️
Pizzeria L'Oasi is a great restaurant for the crew near the port at Imperia. Check it out next time if you can! Thanks for the videos.
Amazing thank you! We love advice like this 🛥️🍕🍻
Absolutely great video... thanks crew 😊
Have a great season!! Looking forward to following along!
Another great video. And looks like the quality is improving as well.
Great job guys very much enjoyed watching the crossing ⚓️❤️⚓️
Fascinating insight to the work involved.
Thanks for sharing
I spent many nights in palma Mallorca..
Daiquiri palace right on the beach. Oh the days
Really looks fantastic from the at sea view
I was surprised the drone was able to hide and not get liberated
been finding you sailing the Adriatic on Marine traffic....love your videos....keep them up
Yay! Paul's back!! 😄😄
oh you should have said hello passing by the island. 😅 next time you are on mallorca, will bring some cold beers. whoop whoop.
great crew
I noticed the explorer yacht Genesia moored next door but one to you in the marina. Awesome ship.
I assume the cars you have in different ports are all rentals coordinated by your management company. The more I think about it the more your logistics of running such a boat get more and more complicated...
Damn I was confused for a second there about you just getting back to the med and already releasing the F1 videos but I am glad you released them when you did
Happy to be a Loonie
What’s the roughest sea state you’ve had Loon in? Love the videos.
Chief Officer Davey still reminds me of a James Bond villein!
It's been mentioned a few times on this channel that there are differences in the chase boat rolls between the Caribbean and the Mediterranean that define your choice of boats (HCB vs Anvera). It would be interesting to hear a little more about that. Is it just that the Anvera functions more as a "water limo" and the HCB is more of a fishing/dive boat or is there more to it than that? Are fishing and diving not popular activities in the Mediterranean?
This Thursdays video is all on the Anvera stay tuned 😎
@@motoryachtloon That's great! By the way I love the channel, great job!
Oh super interesting point! I never even thought about that! Would love to know too. Like a video comparing the two
does captain ben only do the crossing?
No he’s doing some charters later this season also
❤ subscribe and come back often. When you want to watch something that fills your ❤ with happy goodness, then absolutely look no further. Cheers! 🍷
What does it cost to take loon across the Atlantic? Fuel, food, crew, ect. just curious
Imperia, là où j’habite et où j’ai mon voilier….❤️❤️❤️😃😃😃👌
the worlds best deep water climbing is off that coast of Majorca
How do you get the forward lines onboard the yacht when docking like this? Great episode ❤
I love Mallorca! Grew up there ❤
Such a cool island the crew were begging to stop in Palma for a few days
@@motoryachtloon
A few days is never enough in Mallorca. I’m surprised there aren’t many charters to Mallorca. Venture outside Palma for sure
@@shelley1955That surprises me, too. It’s a perfect high-end destination.
The problem is the Spanish government make it extremely difficult for foreign flagged vessels with foreign crew (like Loon) to charter in Spanish waters.
@@motoryachtloon crazy. Spain is in most aspects the most business/tourism/expat-friendly country in the western Med. Are there other places you would like to go in the region that are difficult to arrange?
Jozo zemljak, pozdrav iz domovine
great thumbnail
What is the yacht tied down to on the front when it was docked?
fit sittin sideways.... thats no dingy either. i see why you are impressed. "sea of man o war and abundant wildlife feasting.....BUT hey hey hey check this out"
For the Atlantic crossing, do the crew to get to spread out their quarters and use any of the guest suites?
No the crew stay in their cabins. It’s creates more work for us if we move into the guest cabins so it’s easier just to stay put 😎
keep peaceful
Roll Call ? How often do roll calls happen ?
Any reason / special tie to South Africa as a lot of the crew seem to hail from there? Lekker, ek se!
It is 7/4/24, are you anchored in Santa Margherita?
hyper straight love as well peace
Can we just keep Dylan as videographer?
Yes
I agree!!
lol @11:00 *Deckhand Davey
🤣
😂
Patreon? You do realize that just a week's worth of your tips is often more than most people bring home in a month. It's very strange to see a luxury boat being tied to a fundraising platform like this. Especially if their employees are supplementing their income with it. Or are you trying to tell us the boat's owner needs help? It's not a good look.
What the fuel left after showing up to destination level wise
Actually that’s be interesting to know especially after watching the refueling process
I´v never seen an Owner or Guest on Board. Ist Loon a Charter Yacht, or does it belong to a priv owner?
Was crossing the Atlantic for a ferry or whats the trip about?
We purposely don’t show any guests to protect their privacy 😎
Klára 👍😀
careful jumping. keep safe
I see a lot of Scubapro branding ( and nobody else). Do they sponsor in any way?

To Patreon Complainers: Patreon is not meant to be equitable... it is elitist. Maybe some money goes into the crews' pockets. But it is mostly paying for video production. Crew is already well paid. Tips alone are double my salary. I doubt they pay tax since (I think) Loon is registered in the Cayman Islands. Plus, they have no expenses. Patreon exists because Loon wants exclusive content for wealthy people to feel special. After all, they are potential clients. Most of us will never come close to a yacht.
Not completely true. The patreon exists to offset production costs and for us to give more raw and uncut exclusive content to our super fans.
The YT channel has huge expenses in equipment and post production and it is our aim to have the channel fully self supported. All remaining funds go directly to the crew kitty for experiences like the helicopter ride that we did a few months ago.
We do appreciate everyone and don’t plan on holding any content back from YT.
And we’re still here answering questions 😎
Who thinks motor yacht loon needs a blue hull I think they would defy make her stand out
Turn around - Nina’s shopping in Florida.
Imagine coming back and the boats covered in bumper stickers
How i can make reservation on loon yacht?
you can't afford it.....
Do not want to be in the anchor room....scary
9:50 - "We've got crew rinsing down, we've got lunchtime coming up soon and dockwalkers on the aft" 🤣
You changed the video chap again?
Wheres Paigey
Do onboard romances ever happen.
Against the rules…
Where is the Patron money going? Because I gotta be honest, I'm not too interested in giving money to a corporation that has enough money for a yacht like this. They clearly already have enough money. But if it's being an additional amount of income spread across the crew as a bonus, I'd be more onboard with that 😊
100% goes to the crew so we can film more content and adventures 😁
@@motoryachtloon Awesome to hear! I will likely become a member there soon then!
Who gets the money from the UA-cam views?
@@mebluewaterstop counting people pockets
Currently all the YT revenue is going g back into the channel and some. It’s not as much as people think. Eventually if it ever becomes profitable it would go into crew budget for adventures.
This new film guy is sooo much better on camera than the last two!
Very harsh.
Unnecessary
So all these HOT in shape dudes are supposedly not getting any "special attention"
from the cute girls in those little outfits....find that hard to believe....there has to be sparks flying👀👀👀👀

The guy with head Chef kinda of annoying

In what way?
@@Bob-bo8ik tell me what you see. Always puzzled and wondering what normie sheeple think when they see such sky... 🤔
@@no_clot_shot1128 I see them. what is the madness?
@@Bob-bo8ik dunno... It's abnormal. Couldn't come up with with a better comparison. It's madness everybody acting like it's not even there.
@@no_clot_shot1128 You can see them. Why would anybody deny they exist? Why would any body care.?
$75 million yacht, and they need a patrion page to take money away from people who couldn't even afford to eat one meal on it. How pathetic.
It's going to the crew not the owner so pull ya head in.
What’s happened to this channel? Poorly edited and what’s up with the music? Not so much the choice of the music as how it’s all not seems to fit, it is big contrast to the earlier videos.
If you were a regular you know that the last three were filmed by Dylan who is a deckhand, not a video guy. The Videographer is on leave.
The vibes are still the same? I’m not seeing what you’re saying if I’m being honest…
Dylan did a great job. Very pleasant presentations.
disagree, these past few edits have been great! I assume that Steve did them, seeing how the crossing was weeks ago. Dylan did a great job presenting
