    Your new harmonica sounds superb. I can see why you are so pleased to get a screwdriver included. This is a harmonica that definitely would not benefit from being customized by driving your car over it.

      No, it bends quite well out of the box. I might run it over a few times with my bike but the car is definitely an exaggeration. I would rather save the rubber for my Diatonics 😂

      @@woelneberg If you even think about running over this harmonica with any thing or even standing on it I will travel over to Germany and take it back home to England where this lovely harp will be safe.

      @@Reeldin58 Don't worry, this harmonica will sit safe in the box at all time when it is not being played! I probably won't even take it out of the house the first year😂

    Great video. I'm thinking of starting up the chromatic alongside the diatonic that I've already been learning for a few years. Do you think the chromatic is harder to learn? What's a good chromatic to start on? And does having learnt the diatonic help? Thanks 👍

    • @woelneberg
      @woelneberg  Рік тому +2

      That's a smart move if you ask me! There is a lot to learn from playing both. The chromatic is different to learn. The button require more muscle memory training. You will need to practice scales much more than what is normal on the diatonic. The question is if you want valves or not. Valves is crucial for the tone of a chromatic, they also allow ornamental blow bends. Valveless is cheaper and great for carrying around as valves is a lot of trouble when it's a little cold. I would say Easttop Forerunner or Hohner Discovery are good to start out 😀

      Playing the diatonic has already put you miles ahead of the regulsr beginner!

    I want buy this harmonica. Do You recommend? I heard some say it is leaky hope it is not true.

    • @woelneberg
      @woelneberg  3 роки тому +1

      I know the previous model was leaky. There is nothing about this model that is leaky. It is a very well built harominca. I recommend it for the build quality, but actually I didn't enjoy the size too much. I don't think I will get another 16 hole chromatic. I have found that 12 holes in G is the best. I get all the notes I want in a compact design.

    Sjajan zvuk ali pokusajte malo da svirate u dvoglasu ili terci pa ubacite neki akord ili ritmiku da cujem sve njene performanse, ako biste bili ljubazni.Kliknite na moju ikonicu da cujete kako ja sviram hromatsku Hohner super chromoniku 12/48.To je uglavnom balkanski etnomelos.Ali to nije bitno bitne su performanse harmonike i tehnika sviranja.Ja takvu harmoniku na zalost ne mogu priustiti sebi i zato volim bar da slusam kako drugi na njoj sviraju i kako sve to zvuci.Veliki pozdrav za vas i hvala sto ste vase zadovoljstvo podelili sa nama koji vas slusamo.

    why are the holes with this chromatic one up and one down?

    • @woelneberg
      @woelneberg  3 роки тому +1

      I believe it's in cross tuning. I am not sure about the details around this, but chromatics are either straight or cross tuned. Referring to how the holes, button and reeds are organized.

      @@woelneberg Hohner found that alternating the notes (reeds) top and bottom reed plates makes the chromatic more air tight.
