    STRONGLY DISLIKED this man as President, but politics aside, I absolutely adored him & still value the moment I met him. He's extremely warmhearted & welcoming. He always seems to have his heart & head in the right place when hes not under pressure. Can't wait for my copy of his book to get here. & former FLOTUS Laura Bush still looks AMAZING!

      The Bush family is a very sweet family. From the father down to the sons. Also, George W. H. Bush's wife was a very hard working First Lady who spent much of her time in the White House doing a lot of outreach for children. She was VERY big on education.

      : Sadly that's not possiible anymore. RIP Barbara Bush. I remember meeting Rose Kennedy (I grew up in Hyannis, MA) when I was with my grandmother on Main St. in downtown Hyannis. She must have been 91 or 92 at the time. This was not long before her stroke which left her mostly housebound. She seemed like a very sweet, compassionate lady, who was always smiling. I remember her complimenting me on my eyes (they're very dark brown). Or perhaps that was her way of reminiding me to look people in the eyes during conversation, lol. In any case, I was young, but never forgot meeting her, and how gracious and kind she was.

      +Jin Kazama - Yes, i don't think i would have liked either one of the two. I feel like the reason that Bush went into Iraq were that he was manipulated into it by Cheney and maybe some incompetence on his side, but i don't think he is an evil person, which Hitler and Mussolini were.
      If you want to know why i say that he was manipulated into the war by Cheney, then watch "The Secret History of ISIS" from PBS Frontline. It's really interesting and shows how the Iraq war came to be.

    • @jinkazama9015
      @jinkazama9015 7 років тому +4

      ISIS didn't exist before Bush decided to invade Iraq, I don't see how this documentary would be relevant. In fact, not only Iraq had nothing tp dp with Al Qaida, Saddam Hussein was their enemy and imprisoned some of them just like Gaddafi. No, Bush isn't a little baby who was manipulated by Cheney. He was willing to further the New Worls Order that his father announced on september 11 1991. The speech is online and the date isn't a coincidence, it was an inside job.

    • @dominiklynton2536
      @dominiklynton2536 7 років тому +2

      + Jin Kazam - ISIS came into existence BECAUSE of Iraq. In the documentation you see how plenty of government officials confirm, that they made up a connection between Al Quaida and Iraq, so they could justify invading Iraq. I wouldn't believe it, if it would be a Alex Jones documentation, but it's a document by PBS, which is publicly sponsored.

      I didn't agree with a LOT of his policies as President, but I remember he at least had a sense of compassion for people, and a moral compass. When 9/11 happened less than a year into his presidency, he did what he could to pull the country together and ensure it wouldn't happen again. Honestly, I would not have liked to be in his shoes for that. Do I agree with every decision he made? No. I didn't at the time, and I still don't, but... the world turns, and the country moves on. We remember that the man is not the office. A lousy man can be a great President, and a good man can be a lousy President. And most people have a mix of good and bad to them. The media covers the bad, and utterly ignores any good. History, though... History allows for complexity. Maybe it will be kinder to Bush than we thought.

      The Bleachening Right, because nothing says Trumps about the American people like appointing the Secretary of state the CEO of Exxon mobile, the head of housing and development a fuckin brain surgeon who was against the fair housing act (who he ran against), made the secretary of education Betsy Devos who's wanted to privatise education (which she would profit from). Not to mention lying about getting Mexico to pay for his wall, and promising to release his tax returns. And saying Obama wiretapped trump tower when his national security advisor was caught having communication with the Russians before he won the election (which is illegal). But yeah, liberals.

    This video makes me feel good about the president , I was not very sure if I liked G.W. Bush while he was the president.. I know others thought he was not very good at the time, but this makes a difference , I can see his feelings here, I can tell he was really concerned about his job as president, I think Chaney was telling him what to do sometimes which made me mad at his administration but now I can tell he was a deliberate person who cared deeply and dearly about his job as president, so thank you Mr. President , thank you for being there for us all ! He seems like an incredibly nice person with a lot of guilt and sadness. It's unfortunate that the Iraq war happened but it's important to remember a majority of congress agreed.

    I Used to think he was one of the weakest presidents, but looking at the current president, he ain't that bad. But I've always found him a likable person. As much as I disagree with his policies, I can see myself getting a long with him just fine....

      +Puglous hey fuckface, tell us again how Iraq was the USA's mortal enemy ? The worst it could do was threaten your access to Kuweit's oil. Saddam's SCUD missiles had a range of 700 km at best, they couldn't even fly 10% of the way to the USA, and that's the closest thing to a WMD he ever had.

    After living through the 8 awful years of Bush as President, is there anyone else besides me whose thinking that right now I'd rather have him back in the White House instead of Trump? I never would have believed it possible back in the day, but those Bush years are looking pretty sweet compared to the next 4 (or God forbid 8!) of Trump.

    Thank you George, Thank you Laura and bush family, I first became aware that you had read my science work by reading the great magazine, MAD, in it you were panting along side Barak and you had the colors of my theory on you and your brush, L can't really describe in words what that meant too me ,that happens when my mind gets blown, Thank you for blowing my mind and your friendship, we have much too talk about when we get-together, peace and love, Doug.
