Unfortunately, I tend to fall into heresy here. I've never had a dog. I assume that a puppy just keeps on going and barking away until it's had enough or doesn't get a reaction or has it's request met. I also assume that a puppy doesn't know any better or is ignorant and disobedient until it is trained or taught. I suppose that a puppy or a dog, waits by the table for something to fall their way or to be given some unwanted remnant from a meal where it is not a diner. What an amazing exchange between them, she starts off by recognizing him as David's son and the Lord, whereas the Judeans can't distinguish their bread from a bath sponge at 22:44-46, then she's still haranging them until 15:23 woof-woof-woof!. At 15:24 He states that He is there for others whom are no longer on the path and are without the light, at which point, at 15:25 she doubles down her efforts and falls to worship Him, humbling herself and asking yet again for Him to help her and her daughter. At 15:26 I think Jesus was holding back His joy and shifted the subject matter to 'bread' and probably 'puppies' and she doesn't ask Him what He is talking about... (bread? puppies? huh??) so, she already knows what He is referring to and she is willing to learn and willing to take her daughter along on the journey by learning bit-by-bit with crumbs because she has not previously received the teaching of the Judeans to be ready for the 'bread'. At 15:21 Jesus triumphantly and joyously seals the deal with her whilst also alluding to 15:21 coming full circle with her, whereby she recognizes Him as the Lord and from the line of David. He probably went all that way just for her and her daughter. See how I fall into heresy. By the way Doc, I also agree with everything you said!
