Best small van I've seen so far (and the Wonder), and you did a super fantastic job at showing it, you're obviously very knowledgeable, you should be in sales!
We’re hoping to purchase a used version of this LTV, and this video was the most informative we have seen online. Jacob did a wonderful job - patient and thorough in his explanations. Thank you !!
I’ve seriously looked at everything out there, and this is the van and the floor plan (or the Island bed) that would work best for me. Size/maneuverability, excellent storage, comfort, the full bath and options for solar and a macerator make me happy, and I might even be OK with the price point for all the quality I’m seeing. Two things make me hesitate: 1) I’m hearing that customer service is difficult-that is NOT OK, especially for the price! And 2) the Mercedes chassis-BOY are those expensive to repair! If there are no contractual obstacles it would be great if Leisure offered a version with a Ford chassis, both to lower the original price point and to keep the operating costs for the user more bearable. No doubt we’d lose some of the wonderful bells and whistles that come with the Mercedes, but for a lot of us the trade-off in price and ease/cost of servicing would made the deal.
I'm not sure if I missed your point or if that pun saying how wonderful it would be wasn't intended but they do make this on a Ford chassis. It's called the Leisure Travel van Wonder. Available in twin bed too.
Great job Jacob..... I like to watch Dean's video's but you did a superior job you and the camera man. Want a great reference if a person would purchase a LTV.
After watching this, the cheap construction of the LTV is apparent. I can see why over 45% of LTV buyers would never buy one again. He did a very good walk through though.
I appreciate the review but it put my less technical girlfriend to sleep lol. I was hoping as a technician, you would explain the wizardry involved with the refrigerator door opening both ways. If you try to open both sides at the same time does the door come off? Haha Living in California we thought you spent a lot of time talking about winterizing which isn't even a thing here but we're very rushed with the driver area and didn't even show the massive amount of storage over the beds. The only thing I noticed you said that was incorrect was the propane tank is larger if you get the propane generator. All models actually come with the same size propane tank regardless if the generator is propane, diesel, or non-existent.
