I know Im really late to the party... but how does it drive??? We have ruled out Class C's after test driving them. They are horrible to drive unless you spend thousands more to add after market steering and suspension upgrades and even then... just not certain. We want a driving experience as much as a camping experience. Driving is what we do so much of.
Hey Brian! The LTV class B drive great but take it slow over speed bumps and rough roads cuz it top heavy and anything on shelves will fall out. The MBZ chassis is solid and strong going up hill. I recommend renting one on rvshare.com or test driving at your local dealer. Happy camping!! 🙏

I believe that black panel you were asking about it the 12 volt breakers (based on some other videos I've seen, not an owner...).
I just ordered a leisure unity rl like yours, I to was suprised that TPMS weren’t installed. You said that there were other unity models that had them installed, were you referring to models from the factory that were installed?
Hi Roger! Yes I was surprised too! I heard other models from factory had them but not confirmed. How long is your wait?
Sorry for the delay regarding my order date, we were supposed get it this July 2024 however I cancelled the order and updated to the 2025 which will receive in about 6 more months. New rl model has 3000 watt inverter 540 ah batterys to run A/C with soft start on the truma AC.

Love this Unity model. Nice video overall very detailed and informative. The music is too loud though. It doesn't completely drown out your voice but it's distracting from what you're saying. This is my first video of yours so hopefully your other videos have either no music, or music that has a lesser volume and is intermittent instant of constant. Thanks

@@realtoraydotcom Curious if you’ve done any modifications or plan to in the future? I heard people upgrading the suspension so doesn’t get the wobble. Anyway, that could be a good video!
@@Superdada no mod plans yet. Just upgraded the batteries from AMG to Lithium. Great idea for suspension! I’m looking into it 👍

Thanks for the awesome review of your rig. These vans are the best! They are made right, inside and out. Love the space saving Murphy bed which is out of sight when not needed.

OMG! I am just off the phone with an extremely helpful and honest sales rep with the ONLY dealer in the Northeast NOT in Canada, and the wait is now 24 months!! Getting the opportunity to actually "lay hands" on one before it goes to service for delivery prep is practically impossible - especially with Covid issues, that people are buying without ever getting in one! Oh, and there is NO discount from the list pricing!
It might be time to move to Manitoba, get a job there and build your own???

What are your thoughts on the main windows in the lounge area being on the off-side (not overlooking the camp ground side)? I think that would drive me crazy, looking out over someone else's campsite...just curious. Love just about everything else on these rigs.
Hi McKay, no issue for us but there is a snap in drape you put over for privacy. Great for boondocking and our dog and cat love the view too!

In my state the wait is about 18-24 months.There's a big dealer out west that's getting me one in 12-14 months. Thank goodness cause I'm 64 this year, so time is of the essence, lol! Really appreciate your video- Can't believe we newbies are having to order sight unseen. There is absolutely no inventory of any models, not even Wonder's to look at. I do have some offers from nice owners who may be passing though to give me tours. Again, thanks my dear! I'm from Santa Monica, by the way.
we live in Manhattan Beach California we ordered ours from Holland motorhomes RV in San Diego area We were told last July we might see our rig by September. And I understand the age factor I'm gonna be 60 next year and I think life is so short

Could the struts on the upper cabinets be replaced with a better system like the infinity hinge on the renegade?
There is one major dislike with these rv’s and it is the hinges on the upper cabinets.

Got a unity rl as well. Thinking of renting it out. How many days are you able to rent it out in a month? Is it worth the trouble?
Just started but I’m able to get rental requests at least once per month. It’s worth it for more than 3 day rental but had a few items break so make sure you take detailed photos before and after for insurance.
Thanks for the walk through. Very informative. Just curious, are you renting your unit out? We currently own a 23' Airstream but are thinking of switching to the LeisureTravel RL. Knowing that is Canadian made with no dealers around, we don't even know where to find one that we can walk through in person. Any advice?
