Aloo Samosa Recipe 2025 | Crispy & Spicy Ramadan Special | Ish Naz Food Lab
Welcome to Ish Naz Food Lab! In this video, we bring you a delicious and crispy Aloo Samosa recipe, perfect for Ramadan 2025. These golden, flaky samosas filled with a spicy potato mixture are an ideal snack for Iftar or any special occasion. Follow our step-by-step recipe to make perfect homemade samosas with ease!
Ingredients:
For the Dough:
2 cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup oil or ghee
½ tsp salt
½ tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
Water (as needed)
For the Filling:
3 large potatoes (boiled & mashed)
1 small onion (finely chopped)
2 green chilies (finely chopped)
½ tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp coriander powder
½ tsp garam masala
½ tsp red chili powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp amchur (dry mango powder)
2 tbsp fresh coriander (chopped)
Salt to taste
1 tbsp oil
For Frying:
Oil (as needed)
Instructions:
Prepare the Dough - Mix flour, salt, carom seeds, and oil. Gradually add water and knead into a firm dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Prepare the Filling - Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, onions, and green chilies. Sauté until soft. Add mashed potatoes and all spices. Mix well and cook for a few minutes. Let the filling cool.
Shape the Samosas - Roll out small dough balls into circles, cut them in half, and shape into cones. Fill with the potato mixture and seal the edges with water.
Fry the Samosas - Heat oil on medium flame and fry samosas until golden brown and crispy.
Serve & Enjoy! - Pair with chutney or ketchup for a delicious Iftar treat!
