I've had my Storm box blast for about 2 weeks now and I am still in awe of the performance of this speaker, the sound profile is definitely in the Audiophile territory, I have a Fluance fi50 which is a Audiophile class speaker among my other 14 speakers and the Tribit may be better than my Fluance, I recently posted My own video of my Altec Lansing Rock Box XL against the Storm box blast and the viewers preferred the Tribit... What a spectacular speaker!!

great review!! yeah i got both speakers, tribit double the weight, but deep bass. motion plus? better highs down lower, i use all in pairs outdoors loud. i use my sony xg500s more than all these with poweramp app. gives bigger sound stage outdoors. plus i got them cheap. lmfao! always out for the underdog!!
It has a good eq too. I got it on the strength of Flossy Carter’s review. My wife already took mine, so I have to get another!

How should I chose between this speaker in review, Anker motion boom plus, WKing D9, dockin d fine, Amazon studio. So far I’ve got the w king d9 and a dockin d fine and they can definitely make the couch or bed shake if I put it on a surface I’ll be able to feel it through the surface like a bed etc. Thags what i want. Not so much care abojt low sounding bass but actually vibrations in terms of feeling it through the floor or bed or surface you get? Which does this the best? I’m not an audiophile lol I just want the best speaker I can feel through surfaces. Preferably portable but wired is also an option to an extent but more portable. The wking d9 literally shakes at max volume bht is there better? Maybe you could suggest the best bass speakers ( that shake not necessarily bass sound ) one for the prices under £99, one under £150 and lastly under £200
How does this compare with the Harman Kardon go + play in terms of bass?
Since I always walk with my dog, the Motion Boom Plus fits my needs coz its lighter. But I will definetly buy that Storm Blast if I have extra bucks but not necessary... MB+ is more useful for me though.

At 40% volume the soundcore sounded more lively and energetic, you should have given us a sound sample at 80% to see how they can perform at higher volumes but overall a great review 👍🏾
yea. They both get so loud i was just afraid of the sound being distorted on camera lol

I think that both the Tribit and the Soundcore have good bass, but I like the Soundcore's highs and midranges better.

I think his opinion was based on the value/quality proposition of the Blast. I don't think he said this is the true super boombox. I have one and it is hardly hifi (sounds a bit boxy , something to do with the tweeters (checkout Alan Ross latest analysis)) but it is certainly a great party speaker worth every penny.
I have a feel when he said this speaker is a must when you’re a bass lover, my guess is he is a paid UA-camr. 😮
I am getting a battery back up of 9 Hours with bass on and 60 % average volume, is it faulty?

They had the Blast for $149.99 with the amazon coupon on the product page about a week ago. Checked back a few hours after ordering and it was back to $199 again. Definitely keep looking. It seems they randomly put it on sale to compete with the boombox 3. The Motion Boom plus was only $124 during the same period!

I don't think so, i saw that Tribit went down to $169.99 for a week same time Boom plus went down to 134.99 & stayed there till Tribit added a $10 coupon week later brought that down to $160
@@SFBenjaminK when I bought mine it was the same $169.99 but with an instant $20 coupon on the product page. Total $149.99 plus tax. The boom plus had a similar coupon bringing it to $124.
Just checked camelcamelcamel Amazon price history. Apparently it was a 3rd party seller when I bought mine (fulfilled by Amazon), but there was an extra $20 off coupon on the product page which isn't supposed to happen with 3rd party sellers.

From my research yesterday I think it's a Chinese brand with headquarters in the US and China.

It was actually $169 with an additional $10 coupon all of last week and went up on Sunday. The Soundcore MBP was also $129.
Quite the discount. I’m guessing the reason was the JBL Boombox 3 was official released on Amazon U.S. on Sunday.

Hey i just received mine today sounds great. However, after charging for about 100 as per app, the battery level went down to 94 then 91 to 89 n then again 87 to 91 within ten minutes of playing at lower volume let say 30 percent and with lights off. So tell me is this normal or mine is an exceptional case.

The Tribit is a bigger heavier and a tad louder. If you want to go more portable route the Boom 2 is the way to go.
