That place looked amazing. The food looked so good. I have had the traditional chili rellanos. My uncle, who lived in southern California, used to make them for us homemade. He would fill the peppers with cheese, dip them in batter, and then deep-fry them. They were so good. It has been a very long time since i had one. I really like good chips and fresh salsa. That decor in the restaurant was very nice. Thanks for another great and excellent review. That looks like a place that i would enjoy.
Beautiful restaurant! Very impressive menu and meal. Very reasonable 👌! You probably slept like a rock after that big travel day! 😋😴😊 oh, and good thing that restaurant is far away 😂😊
@@NCMemoryMakers it is Palenque Mexican Grill, 621 N. Main Street Kernersville. And there is another one Don Juan's Mexican on 201 Century Blvd. Both are good.
Wish we had a Mexican restaurant like that where we live. It looked delicious. Was your chile relleno spicy? Thanks for sharing with us. Continue to enjoy y’all vacation.
@angelaambrose2326 Not overly spicy at all... just very full-flavored. Whether a person likes hot things or not, I think they would really enjoy this. It was amazing, and I loved the way that they did the breading and then deep-fried it. It gave it a very nice texture. I would definitely get the same thing again.
Guys, I know you don’t know me from a hole in the wall, but I feel a connection because I watch your videos whenever you post. I’ve got to say, it is just not healthy to go that long and not eat! A lot of people don’t eat the recommended 3 meals a day - in fact my husband and I eat a late breakfast and an early dinner if our schedules permit, but it’s really hard on your systems to take in sweets and then go hours without eating or just snacking. We WORRY about you! Be safe and we’ll keep watching (that sounds creepy, after what I just said doesn’t it?) 😱💕🛣️🚘
@teresareed5597 Thank you. To be honest, we have been cutting back because we both need to lose weight. We think we have actually not gained anything this trip. Plus, it's just expensive to eat out 3 times a day. When we're home, it's different. We both eat a healthy, but light breakfast, and lunch. Mainly of fruit. I have a kale smoothie with fruit for breakfast every morning. And even most days on this trip, our motels would have a continental breakfast, and we'd get some bananas, yogurt, and juice. But this particular morning, we had only eaten the donuts at Pikes Peak. But that's not the case every day. We just had a full day and a full schedule this particular day.
I am literally going to contact that restaurant and see if they will let me buy a gallon of that salsa and ship to me. I LOVE good salsa and it’s hard to find .
@mattdawgs3141 I don't know if they will do that, or not. It's certainly worth a shot. Let me know if they do, because I will do the same. I don't really know how to describe it. It's just a little bit stronger flavor than most salsa.
Hey guys, Mexican food is the one food I've gotten sick from several times and won't ever eat it again .. Just don't know What they put in it .. Be well n Safe travels from Cajah Mountain .. MB ..
@kevinp1078 Yes, that is one thing we will never promote on this channel. Unfortunately, the last part of the menu did show a glass of it, and I couldn't avoid it because there was still food dishes in that section. But I will never show the actual alcohol menu. Thanks for appreciating that, and letting us know that you do.
That food looked so delicious!! Thanks for another great video!!

Yes, this place was excellent. I would definitely go back there again, when in the area.
I’m not big on Mexican food. However that looked amazing!!!! Be safe and God Bless!!!
Fine looking restaurant, and your meals looked so delicious
Thank you for watching. We absolutely loved this place!
Hey guys food looked delicious and decor was so authentic, just what you would expect. Sounds like you had a very busy day. Rest well.
Yes, it was a very busy day, and this meal was the perfect ending to the day. Great place!
I’m really enjoying y’all’s journey. Please keep the videos coming . Need some salt for those chips though
Food looks good! Have a blessed time on your trip!
Thanks so much!

Yes, it probably is a good thing that it is so far...LOL. We were very tired that night.
Looked great. Enjoy the rest of your trip. Safe travels and God bless.
Thanks for sharing this restaurant with us
That looks so good. Once in a while we eat at the one in Kernersville. Get some rest and have a safe trip. ❤❤😊

Love the decor also. Food looked awesome . That salsa did look thicker and darker than normal. Wished we could figure out the ingredients.
So do I. I don't even know how to describe the difference, but it just was. Very full-flavored.
🎉
Yes the salsa was darker yummy 😋

Rain would be nice in Phoenix…I am melting here…115 today.
Hope you all have a great time. It is beautiful there, but also VERY hot!
I’m betting they add some mile’ to it . I’ll let you know what they say

Do you know what they put in Chinese food? Italian food? Greek owned restaurants are some of the sketchiest around.
