I was at this concert. It was literally the best concert I've ever seen. Im a huge fan of Kimbra, but after that concert I fell equally in love with Caroline and Chairlift. Her voice works perfectly in that song, it almost makes the song have a different feel than when Kimbra sang the part.
@@Spark-In-The-Dark But why should she sing the song the same way as Kimbra? Each singer has their own style. Replicating what someone else does isn't a sign of talent or good quality, and Caroline is a great singer.

@@salpaparo2466hate to be nitpicky but Gotye's current girlfriend is actually the OG Kimbra. I remember he mentioning that the song ends up sounding too cheery and not solemn enough so he ends up picking up someone else

Do you honestly think Wally is going to cart around Kimbra on tour for one song? - So stop being closed minded and instead of complaining, go and check out Polacheks talent.

I love Kimbra but this girl did an amazing job. It's funny how we get so used to the people who originally sing the song that we all fell in love with and it almost becomes sacred to us and we freak out like wait who is this....its music and she did great. We never stop and think about the artist who sing either you ever wonder if he's just tired of singing this song? This song made him ridiculously famous and he was already brilliant with 2 albums before this song. Maybe he wanted to switch it up a little..change is good every now and then😉

Yeah!, Caroline was perfect for the role! There's no better choice for it aside from Kimbra! I would also suggest people listen to her cover of Beyonce's Party, Amanaemonesia and Cool as a Fire, my favourite song from her Something album. Her voice is amazing and she has natural autotune.
