Does the engraving in metal jewelry (gold and silver) have depth or is it more of an etch? Like can it engrave in metal jewelry and then be filled with a color or is there not enough depth to hold a color (paint)?
Great Video, just ordered my F1 yesterday now Im trying my best to get up to speed on all this. One of the items I want to make is K9 pics on military style stainless steel dog tags, do you think the setting would be close to the same as the heart you did at the end of the video? I found 100 tags on Amazon polished stainless for good price..
I love watching these type of videos except the frustrating part is every poster has different options that I do. for eg, you have power speed and pass whereas I have dot duration, power range, dpi. As well you can select score/engrave/cut whereas I only have engrave.
My was the exact same way an it was driving me crazy because i couldnt figure out the settings for pictures. I just realized today that for me to get the speed an power instead of the dot duration, dpi settings is to import a picture file that is a SVG. If its not an svg file (jpeg or png) then it wont give you those options.
Can't hear, the sound is not good
Nice video, please upgrade your mic
I really wanted to watch this video but the sound is terrible and makes it hard to watch.

What are your suggestions for portable power for the f1 when power is not available?
When you are at a craft show have you had any complaints about fumes from engraving?
I am hoping you see this and can give me an idea on how it does with Ceramic tile.
Great video thanks for the tutorial. Keep up the good work.
You said you were going to show what the button below the focus and start knob does, but unfortunately you did not. Please make a video on that.
It will stop the framing.
Have you done gold wedding bands?
The voice sounds so far away. But great video
