I can't overemphasise how important having the skill to turn your failures into a positive force is. It can take years of working on it before you can do it properly - but learning this one skill can completely transform your life. When I was a student at university, this approach completely turned my grades around. That's why I believe every student should fail AT LEAST one of their exams while at university.

In my very first college exam (in the US) I got a 30/100 in orgo and I literately cried while my girlfriend comforted me. It was extremely stressful and I felt like a failure. I did poorly in many other exams in the following years, and I was the only one among my friends who got rejected by all PhD positions that I applied for as I graduated. This year I will be graduating from my masters program, which was the only place that gave me an offer back then, and about a week ago I was offered a PhD position at the University of Oxford. While all other places still rejected me, I am proud of myself for not giving up, which led to where I am today. Don’t worry if you fail sometimes. Of course it is always more reassuring to have good grades, but a few bad exam grades won’t ruin your life. Even if you fail a hundred times, be strong. One success is all you need.

Yes I tried STH new. I tried thing entire season of anime and kdrama in one night.
I also tried wattpad books, writing poems and stories.
And yes my friends said my creativity is expressed better.

I am in a similar position, I have to write a test around august because of the low final mark in algebra, my summer was going great and the mail about the test just ruined it, if I fail it I won't pass to grade 11,I barely understand anything from algebra

Honestly, same I did good on all the reviews but the test came back as a shock
i got into 9th this year and my exams are going on right now (Pre mid ) every day i work so hard to achieve good marks but on every test i know that I am on verge of failure. Well, what i know is pre mid exams aren't that big of a deal but still everyone will know even the teachers but i dont care when i will get good marks in mid term i will show everyone what i am capable of.
And my pretest is running...and I'm definitely gonna fail in Biology 🙃🙃🙃

I was studying for my social studies exam when I realized I was going to fail. I looked up some motivation to keep myself from crying, and your video really helped me. Next time, I'm going to make sure this situation never repeats itself. I was a gifted child and never learned the true meaning of hard work. Now, all my peers are ahead, and I'm still stuck here. I had failed my midterms too, but I didn't get my reality check at the time. Now, I'm going to make sure that I get good marks in my next exam. Future Kapil, go through this comment every day and remind yourself of the anxiety and pain you felt the night before your social studies exam. Never give up, and remember to study all the time. Today I will make a promise to come to this comment section every day and write whatever I studied. Today is the night of the social exam and i have 7 more subject left. I shall be writing whatever I have done from tomorrow and forwards.
Edit #1:- My social exam went alright. I don't think I did so bad that i will fail but I won't get amazing marks either. Tomorrow is my computer science exam and now I am gonna go study bye.

March 14, 2024. 6:08 p.m. I went home numb as I have lots of mistakes in our final on a certain major. Scores are not yet revealed, but as I scanned through my notes after the exam, I knew I have lots of "xs". A setback, yes. But, I will recover.
Came home at 1:21 feeling bad knowing that I didn't do as good as I could have which hurts this was my most well prepared exam and just the start of a long month of exams.
So yes, we can all overcome this. Not the first time we've failed and it won't be our last.

Same, I always used to get As and Bs but for the last 2 semesters I kept getting C's and D's , the work is getting harder each time. This year I want to change from these low grades to high grades since it is my last year in high school and want to go to this high University in my city. I failed my Cert Res Appraiser exam 5 times by a few points each time, its taken a toll on me. But failure is if i give up, I take it again this week. I failed my physics periodic test. Got 10/30. I did everything I could, solved every question but then when I held the pen in hand it was like everything has stopped for me. I couldn’t move my finger. Got the questions I had practiced over and over again. This is the first time I’ve failed and guess now I feel how it feels to accept failure.

I'm here because I just saw my score on our midterm exam, and it's really dissapointing because that's our major subject.

I messed up my Maths paper today, i just came home and feel devastated even by the thought of it. The time I gave it my all to pass it but then, as soon as I sat for the exam in the room with the question paper infront of me, I Freaked Out. Not because the paper was hard or anything, even the questions that i could easily score from, I even messed up those. I had zero confidence in myself. I had less time, and a lot of questions. Things I practiced and studied seemed to just fly away from my soul. And i was just there on the seat. My faced turned all red. As I looked around everyone was writting, without even moving an inch and here I was just there like a dummy.
At the end, i was just able to attempt a total of 18marks out of 60. As I left my seat i felt devastated. I never had any red marks on any of my marksheets before and this is ig the very first time. At that instance of time I knew what it feels like to be a failure in a world where everyone is just racing and fighting their way up to the top. I felt like a Complete Failure (still do). As I'm writting this, my head hurts cuz I haven't slept for more than 2 hours last night cuz I preparing for the paper. And now it all just seems like a complete waste. If i do not pass this time i have to give this paper again next year this time around. But at this point, I've completely lose all my hope and can't even focus properly on the next paper. For now that's all. I'll keep updating it as a remainder for myself to remember how it felt to be a failure.

Idk man 1 year ago i was the topper one and now i feel lost In the first semester, my grades decreased Everyone said it was okay.
