I was looking into getting fortune auto suspension as well for my 86 but now I am rethinking that. O dont want to go through that lol. At least you got to drive it around and we get to see how to replace a head gasket!
Battle Garage here. Sorry to hear you had trouble with the Fortune's. The reason for the mixup is most customers usually buy the Swift rear spring upgrade, which we send from Battle Garage. Fortune missed our note to include the default springs for you this time. We did let them know immediately and Fortune seems to have got the replacement springs out to you. We hope you enjoy your suspension!
hahaha similar Hapened to me when bought my stance coilovers, i did put them in my storage for about 3 years untill my build was completed. when i went to install noticed that the rear coils hardware was missing and also both front camber plates were from the same side so i contacted stance and thanks god they send me another set of hardware. what a Nightmare.

iv changed all the front ball joints and rubber bushings on my daihatsu charmant 4k and everything looks similar to the ae86. do parts from both cars match eachother? example if i wanted to put ae86 coilovers or brakes?
Sucks about the springs. Why did you choose fortune auto over BC Racing since the price is close. Me and a friend both got FEAL coilovers and are really happy with them. I had the same problem with the transmission seal, should have replaced it when before I put the new used trans in.

It ain't that bad .... Probably........ I hope you didn't bend any thing, the head gasket was from the fx16 so that was a mistake not getting a new one because when you remove the gasket you can rip it on the head studs but ehh idk I'm just a weeb in its 14's I don't have experience with that stuff

Put in factory style with arp bolts. Checked it's torque about 3-4 times but as my car is still fairly stock I don't rev passed 3k very often. Also torqued it to either 82 or 84 instead of the typical 72 most people do on 7mges.

Blew a head gasket in my old Ae92 GTS wasn't a great time. SO much white smoke. You will get it back together.
That front suspension and brakes install gave me a chubby. The gross sway bar needs some love though.

if it hydrolocked, you may have bent a rod too. Hopefully the block isn't cracked and it is just the gasket
