I went to a narcissistic therapist at one of the lowest point in my life - she did more damage and the experience was pretty confusing until I realised she was a narcissist. At that point I was just horrified and ran away...
Been to one of these last year and it was so horrendous I still have not recovered from it. All she kept saying was 'what do you mean '?. I ended up having to walk out but not before I left her have it. She was crazy.

Not only are some therapists natural narcissists, but some training programs instil bogus ideas and practices that infect good conscientious trainees and get them into the habit of not listening to clients but instead forming spurious theories about them. I've seen this particularly with psychodynamic 'therapy' centres. Stories I could tell. Shop around people! A good therapist may challenge you - but you should feel you're being properly listened to.
Wow. I had one session the other day and I changed the subject mid session because it was so obvious that he was just trying to diagnose me. There was no genuine connection between the two of us, and all he did was spew head knowledge about the things I brought up.

Thank you Truly free! Glad to see you back on!! I experienced this very thing where ex narc husband kept telling me I was crazy, something was wrong with me, that I was like cancer & poison. He turned my children against me except for one who doesn't know the extent of abuse I endured. Exnarc even got a counselor to side with him , and tried to use it in court with a written letter that I wasn't willing to cooperate in saving my marriage. It didn't get submitted bcuz he wasn't a certified therapist. Also exnarc got 2 of my 3 children, and 2 sister's to write scathing and scandalous letters about me to the court during the divorce! They weren't submitted because my attorney said it was between ex and I. That was a year ago. He tried so many tactics to destroy my life, yet... I'm still here to speak out for those who have been in these situations! Please keep making videos when you can. You & other sites lime yours have helped me and many others to take back our lives! Stay strong!!!😚
Good to see you back, it is safer in a hospital ward then society. Easy to get in very hard to get out. The pharmaceutical lie is always going to be the answer.
