Okay this is the first time me seeing you guys and I I thought y'all were quiet lovely! I mean that in the best sense possible don't take it the wrong way! I don't know your names and I should go back and look but the guy that this is obvious his channel You've got to be a singer right cuz every time you sort of mimicked be Home Free guys I thought wow you have an excellent voice so I guess you're probably a singer! I should probably go check out your other stuff before I say anything lol
The song isn't _from_ O Brother, it was originally recorded nearly a century earlier. But it was _used_ in the movie, sung by Dan Tyminski of Union Station (pretending to be George Clooney 😜)...
This is my first time sitting in with you today, thank you for allowing me to do that! I enjoyed the time I spent with you fellas so while I was here I subscribed and left a like for you! Yes, that is an alligator! We don't have crocodiles in the states!
A croc has a long, tapered snout; a gator's nose is shorter and rounded. I am so anxious to see how you enjoy your concert. (Well, actually. Tim says it isn't a concert; it's a party.) Your friend will love Adam's drum solo. Have a great time!
@@maryel5398 Mary, I used to think the same thing, but wanted to be sure so did a search and found this: There are American crocodiles found in Florida, but are also found in several places within the Americas, including Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean. It is more reclusive than the alligator and are more rare, seldom seen. It is a threatened species.
Alligator mouth is designed to grab on to you and drag you down to drown you before eating you. Crocodile mouth is designed to rip your flesh off while you're getting death-rolled
@@patriciab8876There is an amazing Shark Week segment shot using a robo shark to replicate the bull shark in the brackish Florida rivers/ocean openings. The American Croc is super aggressive compared to the also aggressive Alligators. But like a Bull Shark, the behavior is just to simply be a dick. No territory or threats, just attacks because they are assholes.
Not when I saw them! They started at the beginning by telling us we probably would not hear any of the songs we wanted because they have a catalog of over 900 songs. That was true. They also had a huge setup for the beat boxer and gave him 10 - 15 minutes of time. Sad to say it was definitley not up to par!
I forgot to add my suggestions. In no particular order: Hillbilly Bones, Helplessly Hoping, End of the Road, How Great Thou Art, Brothers in Arms, I've Seen Rain, Fishing in the Dark/ Boondocks, MayDay, My Church, Honky Tonk, Do You Hear What I Hear (I know it's not Dec.), Quarantine, Dreamer, Cover Me Up, Moonshine, Sea Shanty Medley, Forever and Ever, Amen 💙 Have fun! That rabbit hole is mighty deep, but oh so sweet!!!! ❤
Home Free is the best at Acapela. They can sing any genre. The bass singer has a 5 plus octave range. Rob, with the beard can sing Opera. Their beatboxer is a National Award winning beatboxer. Austin is the tenor and he is amazing. Chance is amazing also.
Alligator..Crocodile 🤷♀️. They’ll both have you for lunch 😏. Looks like we have another Home Fry in our fold☺️…as far as suggestions..ANYTHING but the Butts Medley🤦♀️. Of course there’s the Qofy Gang favs..Hillbilly Bone and Helplessly Hoping..or End of the Road? it’s so fun watching you two co react..I do hope there will be a return visit..gotta get him prepared for that concert…Thank you 1,000 times for doing this☺️❤️‼️
Adam is a freak of nature. When live he will use his looper which will record his voice and then he can play it and add sounds to it. When live Austin will also do the harmonica with Adam. Chance does the jaw harp. Tim will go through you with his voice. Enjoy!!! 😍🥰
You guys are going to have a blast going to see these guys. My son and I went to see them last October and they are very humble and down to earth. Plus, they'll have you crying with one song and then you'll be rolling on the floor laughing. They put on such a good concert and they definitely involve the audience. They're just down right crazy. Have fun and take it all in. Tim will probably toward the end start an earthquake, he usually does. it just about takes out the speakers. Have a great day!
I'm so excited that QoFy and Dan will finally get to see Home Free in concert in the UK. It will be amazing! I got to see Home Free last summer, and it was incredible! ❤
Nice you are introducing your friend to Home Free. And great that you will see them live soon. This was the first song I ever heard from Home Free & I was instantly hooked. It really showcases the talent of these 5 men (their tight harmonies & Tim Foust's bass & Adam Rupp's incredible beatboxing). They are my favorite a cappella group.
when a new person sees Home Free for the first time, it's always amazing! this song was written back in the 1940's. it has been covered many times over the years. it is a "blue grass" style of music. keep up the great videos. enjoy your live experience!
OMG QoFy!!! Haha bringing others into the Home Free fold I see lol. Well done my friend. Hoping you and yours are doing well and hope to be able to witness your friend go down the HF rabbit hole. Take care & keep up the great work.
It was fun to get this double reaction - you know it so well now, introducing someone new. I guess we'll have a fair idea at the set list by the time they get to us in the UK, as we're the end of the tour, but like you, I really hope they include this.
Always fun to see someone new get bitten by the Home Free bug 😂 I'm pretty certain it's an alligator - it has a rounded wide jaw while crocodiles are narrower and more pointed. Hope you enjoy the London concert - I'm seeing them in Manchester the night before 😊
They will probably do this during the concert. I've seen them three times and they've always done it. During the second nomonica part, Austin goes up to where Adam is and joins in on a second mike.
So excited that you get to go to the concert. I recommend not watching live performances from the current tour before you go just so you can enjoy hearing those sets live for the first time.
Great to see how the two of you react to this. Yes, for me Home Free is and remains the best Acapella group. It's not only because of their great voices and the no human beatboxing, but also because of their appearance, personalities, no ego, brotherhood and being close to the fans. They don't need an exaggerated show or appearance. Just being their selves is perfect for me.
Honestly, with your level of appreciation of the nuances of their music, I want to be here for your post-concert review.. I've seen them live, and they don't disappoint 😁🎶🇦🇺
Have fun at the concert Qofy! I’ve seen them three times now, although the most recent had to be cancelled due to a thunderstorm. Your friend will become a Home Fry for life when he sees Adam’s beatbox solo!! 💜🎶💜 #shoutouttotheQofyGang
I saw them in concert a few months ago. They open with Man of Constant Sorrow followed by Folsom Prison Blues in a kind of medley, joined by a harmonica duet between Adam and Austin. They also do Fishin in the Dark/Boondocks mashup and Try Everything. Your friend should see all of these at least before the concert.
We went to a Home Free party this summer with our teens. Everyone had a blast! They are all this plus Uncle Tim Storytime, Adam Rupt sound machine demo, antics from all of the members, etc. So fun! You will have a blast!
This was so much fun. It was great seeing you with your buddy and showing him a bit of what the guys can do. Seeing them live is so much fun. It is going to be amazing.
There are 3 A Capella groups that I say are equal and are the best out there. 1) Pentatonix, who won the third season of a singing competition called The Sing Off. 2) Home Free, who won the 4th season of The Sing Off. 3) Voice Play who most members (and they change members often) have backgrounds with Disney so they are very theatrical. All three are absolutely fantastic A Capella groups. I do not favor one of the other. I listen to them all with equal praise.
You guys will LOVE seeing Home Free live! Qofy, I really enjoyed your reaction with your brother to this. I would also like to see his reaction to an Adam Rupp drum solo! By the way, that was an alligator. Crocs have a narrower snout...lol...but true
I LOVE that you immediately caught the back side first. The details behind the front side. Most reactors get there eventually with this watch but you two caught it right away. Instant Sub... not even done watching the react. 1.1K subs+ me... lets give these men some comment for the metrics. Cool vibe. I appreciate ja.
Loved watching you do a reaction with a newbie!!! You will be blown away in October! We just saw them on Wednesday. They did this along with some surprises. You will hear the looping along with Adams "drum solo" utilizing the looper! Cant wait to watch your coverage of the concert! Enjoy!
This was so fun to watch! Adam is SO amazing with his harmonica sounds, still blows me away. Does your Bro know about Voiceplay? It's so fun introducing these groups to new people.
Wow! I am so excited for this journey down that rabbit hole of Home Free music!! Dan....get ready!! Y'all know that country music isnt really my vibe, but i make an exception with Home Free. Good music is good music no matter what genre, and Home Free is definitely is one at the top of my list. Sometimes i forget that its Acapella. The most entertaining thing about this reaction video is how much fun QoFy is having watching Dan's reaction! Which is how we all feel watching one of QoFy's reaction videos. Love this so much!!! 💙💙💙
I started falling in love with a Capella groups about 3 years ago, and never looked back.....just the skill alone, in creating instruments like in a band, with just their voices, sets these groups apart from all the rest, and their skills are beyond mention! Another thing I also appreciate as well, is they are able to cross genres with ease, as in the case, where Home Free is generally Country, they can also do soul, rock pop, and everything in-between. I would love you to check out their version of Boyz 11 Men's, End of the Road, and Butts Remix, just so you can see their versatility 😊
I am so happy that you guys are going to see them live. I have been to 8 of their concerts and you are going to be blown away. I was in shock the first time I heard them live. When Tim hits his low bass notes he vibrates your chair and your body. You are going to have a blast and I can't wait to see your reactions to the concert.
I absolutely loved the interaction between you to friends. Music is, and always will be a universal language. Hope to see more reactions together. Good job to both!
Wow! It will be great when you get to see them live...together! Nice! 😀 They really can't be beat, live, as far as I'm concerned. I've been to tons of live concerts over my nearly 74 years, and I loved being at one of their concerts better than ANY of the others I've attended. - - - - - - - - - -The differences between alligators and crocodiles (from Everglades Holiday Park--these are the two main differences): "The snout shape and jawline are probably the easiest ways to distinguish alligators vs. crocodiles. Snout Shape: Alligators have a wide, rounded, u-shaped snout, while crocodiles have long, pointed, V-shaped snouts. Jawline: Alligators have a wide upper jaw, which allows for the teeth to remain hidden in the mouth. Crocodiles are different from alligators in this sense, where both the upper and lower jaws of a crocodile are the same size, exposing their teeth as they interlock, creating the look of a toothy grin. From a distance, it’s not too difficult to tell the difference between an alligator and a crocodile when looking at the shape of the snout and visibility of the teeth.- - - - - - - - - - As for the real country accents, three of the group are from the south, with Austin (who is from Georgia) being the one with the most drawl (that he tries to control sometimes, but he's never very successful about it). Tim is from Texas. Mostly he leans on the "...y'all" side of "southern." Chance comes from Alabama...where this video was shot (from quite close to this place, if I'm remembering correctly). Now you've got me giggling, about the ladies and Tim in the rain. My youngest daughter (a very happily-married lady, with eight children of their own), said the same thing, the first time she saw this and we were watching it together. I told her it was a good thing her husband wasn't there to hear that! ;-) He wouldn't have worried, though...the two of them are stuck like glue. 😀 You should show your brother their video, "Some Girls Do," with it's southern take, also. I love when Adam just EXPLODES near the end of that one. You two are going to have a TREMENDOUS time at the concert, for sure...no matter which songs they do. It's been five years since my daughter and I got to go to a concert, so I don't know what songs they are still doing live, but it won't matter. Every single one of the songs they will do, will be absolutely fabulous. You will be caught up in it all, and you won't want to leave. That's just the way of it. ENJOY! \0/
Oh QoFy this reaction was so much fun to watch! It’s like you were seeing Home Free for the first time through your friend’s eyes! You have to do more videos together before the concert. Be sure to do Sea Shanty Medley…that one always gets the crowd going. I’d recommend that you choose some of your favorites that feature each of the guys…like End of the Road for Rob, When a Man Loves a Woman for Austin, etc. or ones like American Pie where each one gets a verse. Then there’s Nessun Dorma …..so many to choose from!
You guys are going to enjoy watching them live. We have been to 3 of their concerts and have tickets for the fourth. Yes, Adam always has a part in the concert where he performs alone and shows just how talented he really is.
Qofy...it is fun to introduce friends to HF isn't it? They are such an intricate and rich vibe and you know it just by looking at their faces ...HF I mean. You don't know how much to say. I'm so happy you and your friend will be sharing the concert experience. 🙃 I haven't been able to do that yet but it may happen.
This was featured in the movie Brother Where Art Thou?, but it was written in the early 1930s. I would imagine it's about hopping the rails across America.
That was wonderful. You guys will enjoy seeing them "live". I saw them just about a year ago and they were great. I really didn't think they would be all that great in a live setting but I was wrong I was blown away. You have something really great coming up and look forward to it. I can't wait to hear from you guys after you see the show. Have a wonderful time

Was taught years ago that an easy way to distinguish the two is that an alligator's snout is shaped like a U and crocodile's is shaped like a V.
Also, alligators are in the US, and crocodiles are not.

That part which you are referring to during the concerts is Adam Rupp Drum Solo.

From a distance, it’s not too difficult to tell the difference between an alligator and a crocodile when looking at the shape of the snout and visibility of the teeth.- - - - - - - - - -
As for the real country accents, three of the group are from the south, with Austin (who is from Georgia) being the one with the most drawl (that he tries to control sometimes, but he's never very successful about it).
You should show your brother their video, "Some Girls Do," with it's southern take, also.
ENJOY! \0/
Yes, Oh Brother Where Art Thou did a version of this song, but the song goes back to 1939, long before the movie
☺️❤️
You are going to love them live!
You guys are going to enjoy watching them live. We have been to 3 of their concerts and have tickets for the fourth. Yes, Adam always has a part in the concert where he performs alone and shows just how talented he really is.
I've seen them atleast 20 times and they never disappoint. Nothing but a party!
Qofy...it is fun to introduce friends to HF isn't it? They are such an intricate and rich vibe and you know it just by looking at their faces ...HF I mean. You don't know how much to say.
I'm so happy you and your friend will be sharing the concert experience. 🙃
I haven't been able to do that yet but it may happen.
I hope you are able to see a concert before too long..☺️
Im gonna keep my eyes open for you Qofy, i also have tickets for October. Can hardly wait ❤
Come say hi and take a picture with us 😁
@@QofyReacts That's a certainty. If i find you 🤣🤗
This was featured in the movie Brother Where Art Thou?, but it was written in the early 1930s. I would imagine it's about hopping the rails across America.
I think your reaction to this song from Home Free is one of the best, because of your experience with music.
C'mon Qofy, it's a nomonica. Have a blast at the party concert
Have a wonderful time
☺️❤️ they do have a fun entertaining show…
NO INSTERMANDS! BEAUTIFUL!
