So... Would a battlemaster usually have a blue lightsaber?... Like a guardian? Or would they usually have a green lightsaber?.. for having teaching capabilites? Or does a battlemaster not usually tie with a specific color?
If Jedi Battlemasters are so great than Darth Malgus should never have beaten Kao Cen Darach in lightsaber combat. Then again, Darth Malgus should never have beaten Ven Zollo but the storywriters needed victims.
I think the only reason Kao lost was because he got tired. You can tell the Battlemaster is augmenting his martial prowess when fighting both sith lords at the same time. And I agree on the point of Ven Zallow”s death, it’s clear he was more skilled-but maybe there is something else I’m missing
@@nikolavujosevic1946 Malgus was only able to kill his master since he struck him down from behind as he was kneeling wounded by Kao Chen Darach. Darach should have been able to handle Malgus like he was earlier but they needed Malgus alive to sell the story.
@@marcelparris8266 Darach was skilled, but his problem was he just didn't have the power in the Force to compete with apprentice Darth Malgus (who Satele Shan said was the purest distillation of the Dark Side she had ever seen). Malgus also had physical strength on his side, as he was the Sith equivalent of a self-trained MMA fighter. He was a master of Form I (Shii-Cho), Form III (Soresu), and Form V (Djem-So) and switched between them or mixed them as necessary. Darach seems to favor Form VI (Niman) with elements of Ataru and Jar'Kai mixed in. He isn't a power duelist and his stamina simply wasn't Malgus'. As for Ven Zallow he and Malgus were practically equal and was described as his power on the light clashing with Malgus' darkness. Malgus even thought about how Ven Zallow was the only Jedi there (at the temple) who could challenge him. Zallow simply spent his points in the wrong trees to fight Malgus. Zallow used Ataru (a heavily stamina draining martial art) because he wanted to overwhelm opponents on a battlefield and kill them quickly. This did not work on Malgus because he is a fucking stone wall and after his defeat at Satele's hands he had cybernetics that pumped his lungs full of oxygen so, like Vader, he had virtually limitless stamina. Zallow was also a poor Force wielder who couldn't really seem to use his powers on those equivalent to him, even though he was stronger than 98% of the Sith there. Malgus killed Zallow by feigning weakness when Zallow struck him in the face with his fist (which did knock his mask off and loosened a tooth) and baited him into a stupid spin and dodged his blow, got inside his guard, and stabbed him through the abdomen.
I love now the jedi battle masters in lightsabers are mostly jedi consular and not jedi guardians even tho being a guardian is supposed to mean that your stronger with a lightsaber and consular is supposed to be stronger in the force smh it just makes no sense if you think about it seeing how vaders strength as a jedi when he was anikin was using a lightsaber so his ligthsaber was blue than as Vader he became stronger in the force so it would have turn to green but yet the battle master vaders feard and faced was Cin Drallig and his lightsaber was green not blue even Kao Cen Darach lightsaber was green and he was a battle master

well My understanding that Darth Malgus is a premier Sith Warrior and Sith Commander and thus able to compete with Jedi Battlemaster.

Because Malgus wasn't ordinary Sith, he was Sith battlemaster, commander and best imperial saber combatant in his time.
