I remember the first time I saw a Gretsch snare drum in the 1980s when I was a teenager working in a drum shop.
The same day that snare was in my drum kit. I worked months to pay.
And that Gretsch still here, over 30 years with me.
Music reminded me of those Mr. Rogers moments

I saw this video shortly before getting married and realized I loved this color so much, I needed to incorporate it somehow. I ended up wearing a champagne-colored tie. Thanks for the inspiration, Gretsch!

Im more of an extreme metal drummer. But i gave Gretsch RN2 8piece kit a go. Loving the rich sound of the toms and especially the bad ass sounding kick..
That’s interesting to see a 15”, you never see those around!
I love 16" floor toms. I've never been able to get a 14" floor tom to sound good, although I know many love them. I've only played two 15" floor toms, but both of them absolutely sung like a choir of dangerous angels.
@@lajollascott yes they’re excellent! I used to use one as a rack Tom if you’d believe it, and I love a nice 15” snare
I got lucky and scored a 1979 gretsch kit with 12” rack, 15” floor Tom and 18” kick for jazz. The 15 is the perfect! Congrats to my good friend TC. I remember him when he worked as a grunt at Memphis drum shop. He’s come a long way!
