In the last month I bought/ traded a few drums , plus finished a rewrap of an old 70’s Beverley Bop Kit.
Sadly it feels like “All the gear , no idea” right now ..

Thanks Matt! I completely understand the quote! :D Still haven't received the new kit. Apparently the wait time on laquer Gretsch kits is close to a year. Finding that perfect kit is a pretty fun journey though!

fantastic kit man! Cant go wrong with a Brooklyn. They are some of the best kits made right now for the money.. I love the growl and fuzzy-ness of a Ludwig Classic Maple, but that Gretsch kick has that sweet pillowey sound that you feel more than you hear. There is a reason they are in most serious studios around the world! Cant wait to hear you play it. Love your channel

I’d never trade my Sonor Vintage for a Brooklyn, but that’s just me.
Sonor's are wonderful for sure. Just wasn't feeling the sizes, I had with it.

@@DanStone I still haven't been able to let any of my older Tama kits go. There is just something about it. I can't seem to do it!
