It is quiet simple if the Philippines had not done this you would be owned by China and Japan outright. They would have poured trillions of peso in and bought everything the could get there hands on. It is great nobody but islanders can own it and this is from a USA person.
Wish this would be true! Unfortunately China owns more and more in the Philippines. They finance Airports, Bridges, Roads, Casinos, Buildings and much more. This seems to work out well for Politicians too. Just like in the US. For example Ports have been sold to China. LA, Houston, Long Beach, Miami,... or the US biggest pork producer Smithfield is owned by China.
@@Nellie-H RIght the thing is though if your foreign entity and own things in the USA and your country gets nasty with the USA we just shut down your business and fund other businesses to take over.
Not a very nice thing to do but you can own what ya want but play nice or its amazing how fast local and federal licenses get suspended.
Thank you for watching.
The Chinese almost business land. Why is it? Were are the laws. There status needs to be check by NBI not by immigration.
I don’t agree with you on this matter. I don’t think it matters who owns a particular property or business in any country. They can’t take the land away from the country. What matters most I believe is how well you maintain and manage the properties or businesses. Who ever owns the land still has to pay taxes, follow the existing rules and regulations of the country, province, city, or municipality. In reality the business or property might be better care for by a foreigner. They would also bring money into the country which also improve things. The can’t vote, are bound by the laws and have employees working for them. Why do you see this as a negative? Afraid the slums might be improved?
All other travelers to the UK no longer need to take any COVID-19 tests or fill in a passenger locator form when travelling to the UK from abroad. These changes apply whether you are fully vaccinated or not.Apr 21, 2021
Thank you for watching.
Thanks what about w dual citizenship?
Hello. Filipinos can own land in Philippines without restrictions.
My Wife owns land in a rural area of Mindanao. We aren't sure who the land passes too if she dies, me or her kids? We both bought it together but it only has her name on it.
Hello. Both you and kids will inherit equally.
@@AdventuresinAmericaUSA1 Thank you for the reply. I'll let her know
What if a Foreigner becomes a full citizen there then can they own land there
Yes.
I have a question for you if a American come there and become a Philippines citizen can they buy land there then???
Yup
Yes, if you are a Filipino citizen.
It is ok if Japanese..No to Chinese..!!
