Mike Frizzell thanks man that’s funny you say that because we have half a dozen logs that won’t fit on the bandsaw mill so we’re gonna be hand milling them in the next few weeks. I will try and video it because we’re making some custom rails for the first cut that I’m excited to try and share. Wish I had more time to video the tree work. Thanks Mike!
thanks so much for posting about the EZ 40, I am looking to buy a mill and this is on the top of my list. All the other videos seem to be about the Jr or just poorly filmed. Where are you located? I'm curios about shipping costs since I'm on the West Coast and they are made in Missouri.
Spindrifter86 I’m in Preskit AZ. Not sure I’m supposed to say this but Stanton(owner) drove it out as someone in PHX bought a junior, and the polar vortex was taking place in Missouri so he wanted to come thaw out😂. I think I was quoted around a thousand for shipping before the storm. BUY A EZ BOARDWALK. Best mill for under 10k I think. I paid extra for bigger motor/drive wheels as I cut big logs and it doesn’t hesitate. I will post more videos on the features on it in the next month or so.
carlin benton they are called Dri Stixx. Composite material that have channels molded in to increase air flow. They don’t cause sticker stain. They are not as rigid as wood stickers which I believe allows the wood to move a little more while drying. Still trying to decide if I like them. Thanks for the comment
Hello , I’m a carpenter by trade and help build custom homes full time. I’ve recently ordered a Boardwalk 40 and have several logs already down both soft and hardwood. I’m located near Knoxville Tennessee and I’m wondering what to charge folks a board foot for different species, I expect to stay fairly busy as I have many contacts interested in live edge and rustic sawmill lumber. Thanks !
How do you like that angled head ? I spoke with the owner today and am interested in the 40. Did you have yours delivered ? How much set up time was involved before milling ? How has there customer service been ? I’m in Knoxville, Tennessee and wish someone near me had one so I could see it in action. Thanks !
I love my mill and it was delivered by Mr Stanton himself. Setup time is about 10-20 mins. Every time I call one of those helpful gentlemen walks you through whatever you need, parts or troubleshooting. Worth every penny🤙🏻
They have a Show Schedule on their website. I went to MT Hope Ohio show TODAY 2/19/2021 and saw the 40 in action. They had the Jr. and the 40 but not the newest 50 model on display. They cut a few slabs on the 40 and the Jr. was on static display. They said if I ordered today I could get it in........ December. They are 11 months behind. Really nice machine. I asked what was the longer bed they ever sold for the 40, and he said 60 feet. I need 44 feet for my Log Cabin/Timber Frame build :)

That’s an awesome setup. I’m just running an 880 with a 60” Granberg bush mill at the moment but a woodmizer is in my future 100%

That’s a tough one, every board is different but mine is mainly for hobby so I don’t sell a lot of wood. Thanks for watching!
