"Bugger Burns" is a traditional song which can be found in the book Our Singing Country. This arrangement is from "Spider" John Koerner which he originally played on a seven-string guitar.
Dear Macyn, Well, your growing up but really it is a wonderful thing that has happened to your voice. The broad middle spectrum that expresses so well is now there. You cannot buy that. You either have it or you don' t. You have it.
nice seeing you r new video... singing is great. i wander if you need to strengthen your index finger nail or do you manage to use the flesh of the finge ? my nail always get so warn out that i tryed gel but it makes a very bright sound
Nice one, Macyn! As usual, your playing and singing are outstanding. You really made those 7 strings sound great. Is that a Gibson guitar? Your smile at the end of the video was very nice, too. Best wishes to you.
Macyn. You are brilliant. But this recording method aint doing you any favours. Im no expert. But ill record the voice with another mic. Thats shows of you voice better. With that said, i still think you brilliant :)
Love your smile and playing!!

Thanks. I knew from the truss rod cover that it was probably one or the other :) I might try out 7 strings on my 12-string like you did here.

The Molly Tuttle that never was…. Too bad this young lady didn’t keep going with her talent.
Where did they have seven-string guitar during the depression era?
Traditional Russian guitars have 7 strings. I assume a lot of immigrants brought them over in the early 20th Century.
A song called Bugger Burns sounds SO wrong/disturbing/funny to this Brit's ears! Haha! 😆
Great song though 👍

Excellent playing and singing. I know this song from a tune by David Bromberg. Frankly, you do it much better than him.
