Bruno Kirby had an incomparable Everyman intensity that you couldn’t help but love.

Yet another obscure gem. I say Don Giller should be mentioned on Dave’s Wikipedia page under the “Legacy” subheading because he has done so much to lovingly curate decades worth of material and bring Dave’s work to new audiences (hopefully) far into the future.

What a fine actor Bruno Kirby was. I mean even in this silly running gag, he's perfect.

One of my favorite skits! This was a running gag between me and my friends back in college. One of my friends actually became a cop and is now a detective in New York.

One of my favorite running bits on ‘The Larry Sanders Show’ was Bruno Kirby repeatedly being bumped.

Excellent, Don, thanks! These are from a period when I couldn't get Letterman in Canada. First I've seen them.

It's the little details. On the "Siskel and Ebert On the Edge" graphic, the little running figure is replaced with two running figures- one of them shorter and fatter.

Both, Bruno Kirby and Robert Pastorelli, such underrated actors. gone too soon, both of them. They had something to them, as performers, that always felt so genuine and relatable.
