@ Don Giller... "..PRICELESS !" 😁 ..Thanks for all your hard work, Don !!! ..this segment had so many different things: when Dave took the wind out of Hal's sails by cutting-in and shouting out the name of the performer in advance; when Pete mentioned "..cold shoulder and hot tongue..."; another contortionist I'd never seen before; the Street Fans on the Avenue of The Americas; Hal winning an Emmy... ..but, my personal favorite in this segment was from 25:55 - 26:28..!!! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 ..Thanks for putting this together, Don ! ..I'd still rate your Carson/Letterman compilation as your 'Rembrandt'....but, this is just behind it because of all the variety ! ..a Masterpiece, Don !!! ..and, Thanks again for taking the time and effort to seemlessly piece this together... ..once you've had time to 'chill' and relax, could you answer one question for me: who was the young lady sitting between Dave Letterman and Jack Rollins (at 1:00:00), when Hal received his Emmy..!? ..I recognize her face, but I cant think of her name..!? ..I'm not in any rush for an answer....just curious... ..and, Thanks Again !!! 😎
That’s Regina Lasko, whom Dave would marry years later. And thanks. :) I’ll always consider The Faces Project as the most challenging, if not the most rewarding.
@@dongiller ..I'm not sure what an 'Easter Egg' is in the industry, but, yeah, I caught it... ..I like the expression on Dave's face when Hal bolts from his chair towards the control booth... ..it seemed like Hal and Dave -- and nearly all of Dave's staff and crew -- had lots of 'fun chemistry' working together... 🙄
Don, this is excellent, as always! The amount of work you had to have put into compiling and editing is staggering. I’ve watched all four parts, and I remember many of the bits from when they were originally broadcast. Thank you for bringing us a little joy (MORE than a little!) during these trying times.
The only thing that could've made that tribute on Hal's last day better would have been if Dave had one last time messed up his surname and Hal had come on the mic correcting him.
Hal Gurnee is 99 and still kickin ❤
Mr. Gurnee knew how to deliver the laughs! Special appearance by Jerry Foley! Thanks for sharing.
Mr. Giller. ...... You RULE ....again.
Thanks for these vids Don, this is great stuff even 30-40 years later.
Great tribute to Hal Gurnee! So happy to learn he received an Emmy (2!)

Also, not sure you caught the little Easter Egg I snuck in at the very end, after Dave’s 1995 tribute.

One of the greatest! Thanks!
Been savoring these Hal collections since you posted them. Thanks so much, Don!

Thanks for these, Don!!!
Thanks, again, for the last four vids, sir! I really enjoyed your productions, even though you insist on bringing me to tears at the ends!
This is gold! Almost as golden as you Don!
Oh shit!
the ending was such a thoughtful wrap up, the Emmy awards, the theatre dedication. thank you Hal (and thank you Don)
Thank you, Don. I look forward to each of these.
This is an excellent compilation. I always enjoyed Hal's appearances.
I remember watching these all in real-time, but I had no idea there were this many hours of it. Kooky.
As I tweeted earlier tonight, I honestly didn’t envision this compilation being over six hours.

The Cirque de soleil family Father "Cholnikov" guy.... , reminded me of a former olympic Gymnast and Mummenschanz Maestro named Roger Campbell.

Don Giller thanks Don love it!
Hawk Harrelson made a guest appearance.
This is how AGT started....
Hardly. There was Star Search before this, and Gong Show long before that, and Ted Mack’s Amateur Hour long, long before that.
"..OMAR HA-KIM..!!!" (6:35 - 7:10) 😁
