  • I joined the MINI Challenge race at Rockingham, and what an epic amount of fun it was!
From practice to qualifying and then a double header race day, this kind of experience is seriously amazing. One of the hardest things is to jump in alongside regulars and get an understanding for everything while not upsetting the season's standings.
Shout out to Mark Campbell for the images in the thumbnail and outro: / officialcarsceneuk
    Thanks for watching, Tim

Tim as someone that used to race Karts when I was younger I know how hard it is when you first start. It took me a year and a half of racing every weekend to really start winning. For your first race you did amazing and should be really proud.

Tim, I've been racing for a good few years now, and from experience I can say very well done. A very honest assessment of your weekend, and to be competing even with the back of the grid with such limited experience is superb. You're only going to get faster too. Look forward to the next one!

Noice! I had a chance to join a drive around the track once and this video really shows what it's about. From the stripped down brute raw cars and their sound, the rattles, the judder, to the cars around you and mayhem happening, this just really brings that experience back. I bet it's a lot to take in and all in a very short time. Just keep it up and go get 'em!
Also, this is why I love the channel, just some different insights into the automotive world. Nicely done!

Yea its funny you mentioned the mental aspect of driving. Sometimes it just doesn't feel right, and if you push it, that will end up in a crash easily. I don't care how well I can drive, I never pish a car or driving area that I'm not familiar with. Its just playing it safe until you know the limit. Great vid, keep em coming. #schmeefansincesloanstreet lol

Cool vid shmee! Glad your having a great time! I have seen others drive like you. First on the brakes and changing your line going into a crowded corner way earlier than need be. This is usually a mental error not a talent error. Stop thinking about making a mistake! Go drive! As soon as you lose fear of a mistake your confidence will grow! Thank you again for taking us to the track !
