Duramax LB7 Fluidampr Install

This video shows the install of the fluid ampr. Removal of the upper fan shroud, fan/fan clutch and the belt will be all thats needed to get the original one off. Remember its a 36mm socket and you'll need to special Lyle flywheel lock tool to stop the engine from spinning.

Did you have any viberation with the original harmonic balance? If so, Did the new one improve viberation if there was any? Thanks.

I replaced the balancer as 230k mile preventative maintenance when the water pump was out. Actually haven’t driven it much since this video but engine seems smooth

This video is on a LB7. Granted installed this part should be the same on a LLY as well.
