AWESOME little RC Jet Boat😃... From brushed to brushless!

- A new RC jet boat has just joined the RC Crazy fleet🤩
I have been after a bigger version of my favourite jet boat the ProBoat SprintJet mini jet and when I saw this one I had to give it a look.
It was not all good news though as it was not functioning out of the box😟
What do we do? We mod it straight away😆

All of my DIY carbon, aluminium or polycarbonate parts are cut with a jigsaw and drilled with a hand drill.
Most of my materials like Carbon Fibre, Aluminium, polycarbonate and hardware like screws, bolts and nuts are purchased from Ebay Australia but most of what I use is easily found just by Google searching the material or hardware you require.

All editing done on my phone using the Kinemaster phone app.

I didn't realise you got into jet boats or boats at all actually, apologises if you have boat video as I definitely have missed them😅
But yeah jet boats are mad and for me mini jet boats more so, if you haven't seen my ProBoat SprintJet on 3s you may want to take a look, you will freak out over that thing I'd say considering the tiny scale.

Ah yeah I think I remember you mentioning your boating experience in that "tell us about yourself" style video someone asked you to do quite a while back, unless that was someone else🤔
But yeah nice plenty of spots for you if you ever decided on a RC boat.
I love planes aswell, I have lots RC planes just not had them out for a while now, not all but most are 120mph plus builds and I can't get anywhere big to use them, one day I'll get them out again😁

Yeah just bigger than the SprintJet but the jet system itself is much bigger, wonder if it could do 4s🤔🤣
Very cool and entertaining, mate! That thing sounds angry on 3S and even the bad spots provide a lesson 👍 Sometimes you can just feel it when you drop in the water ,like "yeah.. nah this ain't gonna go good"😄
Oh mate that second spot I when to was horrific compared to how it is normally😵
But yes the noise they make is one thing that draws me towards jet boats more specifically, all boats have quite unique sounds but jet boat are definitely the little banshees of RC boat world hey 😈

@@rccrazy Yeah bud, the water churning around and slapping on the hull is nice. I just converted my WL915 to 6S.. I think it might end in pieces by the squeal it's making on the bench, but only one way to find out!😆

Definitely think it needs a little more weight though, keep the water flowing through the jet better.

You should get the surpass hobby 2948 3450kv and a fly color esc and this should rip
I have a 2847 3600kv for it, the flycolour escs are a little big for this boat but I have a esc ready for it aswell👍

Well personally I wouldn't go that far out because my rescue boat can't go that far but yeah the rescue boat from this video I normally use.
But a fishing rod or a blow up dingy/boat would be your best bet, I have done that and you don't have to take my word for it👇🤦

What size coupler dose it use?
I believe the boat shaft is 3mm and the stock motor shaft is 2.3mm so 3mm to 2.3mm.
I need a 3mm to 3.175mm coupler for the bigger motor, I don't trust myself drilling out the stock one😅

Yeah it wants to take a little drive whenever I get to a specific speed doing those spirals, the nose cone I forgot to take may have actually helped that a bit😆
